Amalfi is an excellent point of departure for various trips, to the islands of Ischia and Capri and to the Blue Grotto, for example. Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and Paestum would also make great excursions. Or you might prefer to simply stay put and enjoy the sun and the beautiful views from your terrace at the villa.
