Thailand s VISA Information According to the Department of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Thailand, participants holding national passports from P.R. China, India, and Chinese Taipei are required an entry visa to the Kingdom of Thailand prior to entering into the Kingdom. The delegates from said countries must apply for the necessary visa at the Royal Thai Embassies or Consulates in their country before proceeding to Thailand or they may apply for visas on arrival at the immigration checkpoints for the purpose of tourism for the period of not exceeding 15 days. For more information regarding Visas on Arrival, please visit the web site of Department of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Thailand ( Chinese and Indian participants, who are holding diplomat or official or service/special passports, are exempted from visa requirement and permitted to stay for 30 days and 90 days respectively. Participants other than the participants from the above economies are allowed to enter the Kingdom of Thailand without visas for a stay not exceeding 30 days. Passports must be valid for a period of not less than 6 months beyond the contemplated period of stay. All participants are recommended to refer to the website of Visas and Travel Documents announced by Department of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Thailand at 4. Transportation from Airport Located in downtown Bangkok, The Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel and Resort is 30 km from Suvarnabhumi Airport. There are several ways to get to the hotel. a. By Airportlink You can also take the Airport Rail Link ( from the Airport to Phaya Thai Station and then transfer to the BTS skytrain ( Sukhumvit Line heading Mo Chit to the Victory Monument Station (N3). There is Complimentary Tuk Tuk Shuttle Service, transferring from/to the station to the Hotel.
