Enjoy the lush, rural scenery as you are whisked from the airport to your hotel in vibrant, exciting Tokyo, the world s most populous metropolis. This evening join us and your other tour participants for a Welcome Drinks celebration to officially start your tour. Meals included: Evening Drinks. Your tour includes a choice of three cultural experiences that you may schedule for your free time. You might have a photo shoot in samurai armour, learn to make sushi or wagashi (Japanese sweets), do some taiko drumming, have a sake brewery tour and tasting, try your hand at Kintsugi (pottery repair with gold), attend a matcha tea ceremony or do some zazen meditation. 26/10/19 - Match Day: semi-final 1, International Stadium Yokohama, 17:00 Your morning is free to explore Tokyo before your afternoon bus transfer to the city of Yokohama, around 45 minutes south of Tokyo, to the International Stadium Yokohama for semi-final 1. You might visit Asakusa s Thunder Gate at Senso-ji, then hop up to the top of Tokyo Tower. Next, board the train for a quick trip to anime and electric town Akihabara. Meals Included: Breakfast. 27/10/19 - Match Day: semi-final 2, International Stadium Yokohama, 18:00 The morning is yours for exploring Tokyo. Why not see the city from the water? Cruises depart regularly from Nihombashi near Tokyo Station. Or hop over to neighbouring Ginza for some shopping and the Mitsui Museum. This afternoon we will return to the International Stadium Yokohama for semi-final 2. Meals Included: Breakfast. 28/10/19 - Mt. Fuji Tour Fuji-san, as it is commonly known, is the highlight of the day. Japan s tallest peak and an active volcano, it is the beloved symbol of the nation and a sacred mountain. Travel by bus to Lake Kawaguchi, serene reflecting pool for Fuji-san, then meander around the Oshino Eight Ponds for views of Fuji-san as a backdrop for traditional, rural scenery. Meet up with ninjas at the Oshino Ninja Village then enjoy lunch prepared with local ingredients before heading up to Fuji-san s 5th station (out of 10). Return to Tokyo by bus in time for dinner on your own. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch. 29/10/19 - Tokyo Free Day Your day is free to explore Tokyo, and you may schedule one of your included Cultural Experiences today like a ninja experience or sample food making. Or visit Ueno Park, an amazing collection of green spaces, traditional temples and architecture, art and science museums, and an award-winning zoo. Meals included: Breakfast. 30/10/19 - Tokyo A to Z Tour From Harajuku, mecca of pop culture, walk through giant wooden torii gates into the sacred forest of Meiji-jingu, a Shinto shrine dedicated to the Meiji emperor. Visit the world s tallest tower, Tokyo Skytree, and walk along the glass-floored Tembo Galleria at 450 metres above ground. Next stop is the Imperial palace and garden, with buildings and gardens dating from the Edo period. Fast-forward in time and leave tranquillity behind as we drop in on the vibrant and pulsating Akihabara anime and electric town. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch. 31/10/19 - Tokyo Free Day and Special Evening Dinner Event You re free to explore on your own until evening, and can schedule one of your Cultural experiences here like kimono dressing or watching sumo practice. Or head out to Shibuya to see the world s busiest intersection. Tried kaiten-zushi yet? Don t miss the experience of sushi revolving around the counter in front of you. Just grab what you like! This evening we will host a special and exclusive dinner event. You will not be disappointed! More information will be released soon. Or spend your morning in traditional down-town Tokyo in Sumida at the Edo-Tokyo Museum, and then visit Sumo Central at the nearby Kokugikan sumo tournament centre and museum. Neighbourhood restaurants serve up chanko nabe, the stew eaten daily by sumo wrestlers. Meals included: Breakfast. 2/11/19 - Match Day: final, International Stadium Yokohama, 18:00 Your morning is free to explore Tokyo, and you may schedule one of your included Cultural Experiences for today before our final trip to Yokohama. Tonight the eyes of the world turn to International Stadium Yokohama for the Final match of Rugby World Cup 2019 Japan. Witness history as the best two teams of the tournament take centre stage, leaving only 1 champion by the end of the evening. Meals included: Breakfast. 3/11/19 - Tokyo Free Day The tournament excitement might be over, but Tokyo adventures await. Head over to Harajuku for the Sunday gatherings of costumed youth, then pass through giant torii gates into the sacred forest and extensive gardens of Meiji Shrine. Or head to an onsen theme park at Odaiba, where you can wear Yukata to play Edo-era games, visit the café or have a massage when you re not relaxing in the many pools and saunas. Or visit Ginza and grab a café table right in the middle of the central avenue, which is closed to cars on Sunday.
