1 SOUTH CAROLINA TRIP INFORMATION SHEET WHEN: July 25-31, The bus will 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25 th to arrive in South Carolina on Wednesday, morning, July 26 th. We will attend church services on Sunday, July 30 th and plan to leave for San Antonio after service to return on Monday, evening, July 31 st. Bus sign up sheet is in the vestibule. Please have someone bring you to the church for departure. No cars are to be left overnight on the church parking lot for safety reasons. If you need van pick-up service, please let Sis. Shelby know by July 16th. You may bring blankets & pillows or whatever is needed to make yourself comfortable. Please try to keep extra large luggage to a minimum. There will be snacks and drinks provided for the trip. You may also bring snacks & drinks. We will watch Movies (you may bring your favorites) during the trip. LODGING: Staybridge Suites, 303 Fantasy Harbour Blvd., Myrtle Beach, SC Call Rooms are under: Grace First Baptist Church Room cost: King $194/night (2-3 people) Double $194/night (2-5 people) Cost per person/per night depending on how many are in the room: 2=$97, 3=$65, 4=$49, 5=$41 Deadline to make your hotel reservation is: May 26, 2017 See attached sheets for additional information about the hotel. 2 CHOIR ATTIRE: Black bottoms, White tops All stops are tentative depending on time & need Tentative Itinerary: Depart: Tuesday, July 25 9:00 a.m. 1 st stop: 2:00 p.m. (Driver Change) 2 nd 7:00 p.m. This will be the dinner stop for about 1 hour 8:00 p.m. 3 rd stop: 12:00 a.m. Driver change only No scheduled stops during overnight travel unless the driver needs to stop Last stop: Myrtle Beach, SC Wednesday, July 26 th 10:00 a.m. at Mammy s Kitchen (Breakfast Buffet) Following breakfast, we will walk the Boardwalk area to allow for stretching until the hotel rooms are 4pm Hotel Check 4:00 p.m. Dinner/Fellowship 7:00 p.m. Simply Southern Below are a few other suggested places in the area: House of Blues(variety); Ruby Tuesday (variety menu); Mammy s Kitchen (variety buffet); The Original Benjamin (seafood buffet); Sweet Carolina s (Bar-b-q) Thursday, July 27 th Breakfast at the hotel 6 am-10am This will be a day of fun, shopping, golfing, bowling, swimming, etc. Below are some suggested activities, you are free to take part or venture on your on around the Boardwalk.
