It has a central location in the very heart of Yangon, just blocks from the Sule Pagoda in one direction, and the Bogyoke Market in another. The hotel is about a 45 minute drive from the airport. Room features include: free Wi-Fi access, satellite TV, electronic safe, desk, telephone, iron/ironing board, coffee/tea making, and mini-bar. Spacious attached bathrooms provide a range of amenities and a hair dryer. 24-hour room service is available. Peacock Lounge: the lobby bar. There is an ATM in the lobby that accepts Visa and dispenses local currency, and there is a currency exchange booth across the street. Payments: At present, the hotel accepts only VISA and MASTER credit cards for settlement of accommodation as well as other incidental charges. US dollars and Myanmar Kyat are also accepted. Inle Princess is a founding supporter of Inle Heritage, a not-for-profit independent organization working to protect, and grow the cultural and natural wealth of the Inle Region. Inle Princess commits a portion of its profit to health, social and welfare projects in communities around the lake, such as building bridges, funding clinics and supporting monasteries. They also help accommodate volunteer doctors and teachers who work with local clinics and schools. They have a strong commitment to local jobs and local managers. From the resort you can experience this unique region exploring on boat trips, walks, bike rides or by canoe. At Inle Princess you ll enjoy innovative local cuisine, traditional practices, architecture and artwork. Most of the food is either grown by the property or at least sourced locally. They are all slightly different, measuring square meters. Each is built of traditional pyinkado and palm thatch and has a private deck with views out over the inlet and the lake beyond. Each cabin has a discrete outdoor shower and if it s cool you can warm yourself by the clay oven. Interiors are decorated with Shan paper lanterns, artwork and Inthar weaving. 3 KALAW HILL LODGE Reception & the central building which has the restaurant & lounge The main restaurant opens out to a terrace The bar/lounge with fireplace Deluxe Villa rooms have attached bathroom and balconies Kalaw Hill Lodge is about 5km from the centre of Kalaw on the Shan Plateau. Set on 30 hectares of land, the lodge includes a farm house, vegetable garden, organic fam and a wellness centre. In the central building is the restaurant, bar and lounge. A central fireplace brings warmth to chilly evenings. Also in the main lodge is a pastry shop, and just outside is a swimming pool. Meals are prepared using fresh local ingredients and a wide selection of beverages is available at reasonable prices. The Wellness Centre includes an Ayurveda Spa, Aroma Spa, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Yoga and meditation are also offered. Rooms reflect local style. Each room has an en-suite bathroom, fireplace, air-conditioner/heater, satellite TV, safe, and minibar. It is just a short walk from Ananda Temple, one of the most famous in the area. The open sided, high-ceilinged lobby area has Wi-fi. Walk through the lobby to the dining area (which has covered and al fresco options), past the pool and along garden pathways to reach your room. Each of the 83 rooms has teak floors and typical Burmese furniture. The décor is simple and the rooms are uncluttered. Paintings are copies of temple paintings of Bagan. DIning Hall The pool The Win Unity hotel is one of only a few options in Monywa, which is considered to be off the beaten path. This is the only property in Monywa with a pool, which can be very welcome on a hot day. The dining hall is airconditioned (if eclectically decorated), or you can sit on the small terrace. It is set on 1.8 hectares providing a sanctuary from the hustle & bustle of modern Mandalay. The property had a swimming pool, health & beauty spa and a restaurant. Food choices range from local Myanmar dishes to Thai, Chinese and European options. Premier Suites are spacious, and each has a private balcony. The courtyard-style Resort has 62 rooms and one Junior Suite on two floors that surround the central pool and gardens. Poolside Garden Rooms (there are 24 of these) are within steps of the swimming pool and tropical gardens. Poolview Rooms (there are 38 of these (32 sq. metres) are on the top floor with balconies that look over the pool and gardens. Both room types are the same except for which floor they re on. They measure 32 sq. metres and have Bensley touches including a mirrored feature wall, custom designed iron bed and hand crafted light fittings. Accommodations are available in King or Twin-share and include a wall-mounted LCT TV/soundbar, Bluetooth and complimentary Wi-fi. Rooms feature artwork exclusively created for Shinta Mani by Bensley Design Studios, Bangkok. Room amenities include: minibar, tea/coffee making facilities, safe, bathrobes & slippers.
