1 1) What is this event about? Race categories: - Full Marathon (FM): minimum age is 18 years old; - Half Marathon (HM): minimum age is 17 years old; - 10K: minimum age is 12 years old; - Children s sprint: 0-12 years old. The Maybank Bali Marathon (MBM) is an annual international road race event which features a unique combination of Bali s nature and its traditional artistic performances. Runners will experience an unparalleled blend of Bali s culture and its breathtaking vistas while also facing a challenging race course. The 2018 Maybank Bali Marathon will be the 7 th edition of the event and its course will be comprised of flat road and rolling hills. Runners will experience the Balinese landscape along with traditional art performances by its most hospitable inhabitants along the course. The race courses have been certified by IAAF/AIMS Measurers. All participants will get a running kit and souvenirs from sponsors. All finishers will get a finisher medal and all full marathon finishers will get a finisher shirt. Winner and prize money will be based on gun-time (not net-time). For more information, visit 2) Why should I participate? This year, MBM guests will be lodged in the lavish Ritz-Carlton Bali, at Nusa Dua. 2 3) How much do I need to pay? We have negotiated a very attractive rate of IDR 8,550,000 (approx. USD 600) for a 3Days 2Nights stay at the Ritz-Carlton Bali, Nusa Dua an international 5-star resort hotel to be paid upon check-in. - Personal door step arrangement for Marathon Race Pack - 2 nights of accommodation at the Sawangan Junior Suite - Complimentary Daily breakfast buffet for 1/2 person(s) - Complimentary 1 x lunch buffet for 2 persons - Complimentary access for 2 to our exclusive dinner by the beach - Complimentary airport transfer (pick up & drop off) at scheduled times - Complimentary hotel shuttle to race area (Gianyar) at scheduled times All guest rooms offer the following: -VIP check-in with cold towel and welcome drink upon arrival - Complimentary bottles of mineral water in the room - Coffee and tea making facility in the room - Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access in the Resort - 10% discount for F&B and Spa (a la carte menu) - 20% discount for Maybank Spa Package 4) I want to attend but I do not want to participate in the marathon/run. Is this possible? If you are not keen on participating in the Bali Marathon, you are still welcome to attend our dinner by the beach hosted by Maybank Wealth Management and representatives and enjoy the exclusive rates at the Ritz-Carlton Bali. 5) What is my flight arrangement? Flight arrangements are not included in the package and are your own expenses. Just provide us with your flight details so that we can help you out with the airport pick up. 6) Must I stay at the Ritz-Carlton Bali? Located in Nusa Dua, the Ritz-Carlton Bali serves as a perfect getaway destination for our Premier clients where we have managed to get very attractive rates. For logistical reasons, we seek your understanding to have all our regional clients to stay in this hotel for optimal logistical arrangement and services.

Please provide us with your dates of stay so that we can assist you regarding room availability within the hotel. (A special rate will also be available at IDR 3,500,000 net/night/room inclusive breakfast for 2 the price is only valid for 1 week before and 2 weeks after the package).

4 9) When do I need to respond? We seek your understanding that we need to make the necessary hotel bookings as well as the transportation and marathon logistics. We appreciate it if you could let us know before 30 th April Feel free to give your RM a call if you need any clarifications. 10) What will be the programme itinerary? As we believe that most of our clients need their private and alone time to relax and escape from stress and the city life, our schedule is tailor-made for their own pleasure with ample time for them to relax and enjoy Bali s eye-catching sceneries and the hotel itself. The programme is as follows: Day 1 (Saturday, 8 September 2018) - Airport transfer by Ritz-Carlton Bali - Private VIP check-in with cold towel and welcome drink upon arrival - Race pack + Welcome Letter in Suite - Free & Easy Day 2 (Sunday, 9 September 2018) - Morning call by Full Marathon = 3 am, Half Marathon and 10K = 3.30 am - Hotel shuttle to Race Site ( 1 hour/1.5 hours) Full Marathon = 4 am/4.30 am, Half Marathon and 10K = 4.30 am/5 am - Exclusive access to VIP/Premier booth - Buffet Bejana Restaurant - Rest - Barbecue Beach front venue Day 3 (Monday, 10 September 2018) - Free & Easy - Breakfast buffet - Airport transfer by Ritz-Carlton Bali 11) What happens if I am unable to attend the event? We will miss your presence in Bali. The cancellation must be made 45 days prior to the arrival date or you will automatically be charged 100% Full payment. No cancellation fee prior to 26 th July 2018.

The trip from the airport to the hotel takes around 20 minutes. Private/VIP check-in. A breakfast box will be provided to those who are running on the 9 th September; contents of the breakfast will be shared on a later date. A shuttle bus of 45 seats (Sanjaya Bus or Mai Bus) heading to the race area will be provided by the hotel. Lunch buffet will be served at the Bejana Restaurant* and it will be closed to the public. Lunch will also include drinks (iced/infused water and flavoured ice tea); additional drinks will be charged to your personal account *(indoor and outdoor with a capacity of 100 pax).
