3 Zara Car Park Jabal Amman PM- ABACUS Operated by Grand Hyatt Amman hotel; this parking serves the 5Star hotel as well as the functions of Zara Expo& Zara tower (hotel Apartments). Valet parking operation supported for hotel visitors, one use tickets for hotel one day events (weddings), conferencing taking place at the hotel are offered parking medium to be used only during conference dates. Monthly contracts are offered with hotel apartment rental, contracts can be prolonged from exit cashier booth. Zara car park location in a busy office area made it profitable for the parking operator to rent parking spaces to season parkers during daytime when hotel traffic is at its minimum Car park building consists of 10 floors. Access to the parking utilizes three levels from wadi saqra lower street, wadi saqra upped street and Jabal Amman street. Entire parking uses exit manual payment system; customers present their parking tickets to the cashier prior to leaving the car park. Easy to use webreport tool makes it easy for hotel accounting dept. to follow up financial statements and for operations dept. to plan parking utilization for max revenue generation. 4 Crown plaza Hotel Amman PM- ABACUS Self Operated by hotel management; this parking serves the hotel guests as well as shopping arcade visitors, health club members and employees Parking entrance equipped with customized hotel key card reader for hotel guests. Hotel key card reader is integrated into DESIGNA ABACUS system. Each hotel programmed card is granted access to the parking facility during the accommodation period. Parking exit equipped with manual payment station with facility of parking tariff change TCU (Tariff change unit) enables the cashier to switch the tariff to a discounted one. 3levels of discount are available. Customers holding validated tickets are granted discount according to hotel management tariff structure. All entrances and exits are equipped with emergency manual barrier opening functionality to be used when needed. Parking second basement is dedicated for hotel employees. Exit from this level is restricted by access control reader making sure only authorized people access this parking level. Parking operator switched from FAPD man-readable parking system to DESIGNA magnetic strip PM-ABACUS with central strip technology. Ticket processing time at exit terminal is remarkably reduced. Old building car park has long range readers at entrance & exit. This parking is dedicated to pass holders only. UHF technology enables 4~5 meters reading range to eliminate traffic jams at university entrance and exit. Tags stick to the front wind shield of the vehicle makes the operation totally hands free operation.
