1 Tentative 2017 Specialty Schedule Millwood, Virginia (as of ) Saturday, 9/23/17 Purchase hunts at Quail Hollow Hunts to do training or do Skeet Shooting Sunday, 09/24/17 Participants will be able to train on the grounds at Quail Hollow Hunts in Berkeley Springs. WV or shoot Skeet but no hunting Mid-day: (1:00) Water test. Information from Hunt Committee Evening: (Cocktails 5:00-6:00; Dinner 6:00-7:00; Judges presentation 7:00-9:00) We will have a field judge s presentation at Cacapon Resort Lodge with dinner. Reservation required. Cost $30.00 per person with Cash bar Monday, 09/25/17 Hunt Tests at Quail Hollow Hunts (All Griffons; braces limited to daylight hours.) Lunch available for $12.00 (reservations) Evening campfire dinner, TBD (handled by Hunt Committee) Tuesday, 09/26/17 Hunt Tests at Quail Hollow Hunts (All Griffons; braces limited to daylight hours.) Parade of Titleholders before Sweepstakes, $50, deadline to enter is August 16, Blood Draw for Genetics at Holiday Inn Winchester from 1-3. Free Early evening Welcome Cocktail Reception, Long Branch Plantation (6:00 pm) Reservations required. Cost $ Beer and Wine available for purchase. Thursday, 09/28/17 Specialty Blood Draw for Genetics at Holiday Inn from 1-3. Free Late afternoon (4:30) Judges Education Presentation ($20.00 judges with members free) at Long Branch Plantation. Reservations required. Dinner seminar at Wayside Inn, Middletown VA with Round Table discussions. Pay as you go, reservations required. Friday, 09/29/17 Annual Meeting with light luncheon at Long Branch Plantation Cost $10. Reservations required. Free evening. 1

Box Long Branch Lane Route 626 Millwood, VA Location for Annual Banquet & Auction: Landfall Farm Winchester 350 Chestnut Grove Rd Winchester, VA Hotel Information Close to Hunt Test: Close to Hunt Test Grounds are Cacapon State Park Cabins & Best Western Berkeley Springs Inn. Hunt Grounds are approximately 40 miles from the Show Site. Cacapon State Park Cabins 818 Cacapon Lodge Drive Berkeley Springs, WV A block of rooms is set aside at Cacapon State Park for the Hunt Tests dates. These cabins have been reserved for Sept 24 and 25. They range in price from $78 to $ and all accommodate up to 4 people with 1 to 2 bedrooms. This block will be released around August 15 th. These rooms are booked under the name of Hunting Dog Judges. When booking the credit card is used right away but the room can be cancelled. One will lose a handling fee. The pet fee is $50 per dog for 1st night and $5 per night per dog each night after that. Only 2 dogs per cabin are allowed. Proof of Rabies vaccination is required. Best Western Berkeley Springs Inn Valley Rd, Berkeley Springs, WV (304) There are 4 pet rooms at the Best Western in Berkeley Springs but they will not do a room block. 3

4 Hotel Information Close to Show Site. Note, there is not a host hotel. Holiday Inn Winchester *-Historic Gateway Front Royal Pike, Winchester, VA (540) There are 30 rooms blocked in Winchester at the Holiday Inn which start September 23rd and go through October 2nd. The Holiday Inn is $100 a night and is a full-service HI. Breakfast can be purchased. There is a $25 refundable pet fee, and reservations must be received by September 1st. Blocking code is WPG. TownePlace Suites by Marriott Winchester Getty Ln, Winchester, VA ~91.6 mi (540) There are 30 rooms blocked in TownePlace Suites which start September 23rd and go through October 2nd.The TownePlace Suites is $85 a night with a onetime nonrefundable pet fee of $25. This price is for a Studio King. The cutoff date for this hotel is August 15 th. Blocking code is AWPGA Dog Group. Wayside Inn Main Street Middletown, VA (540) Wayside Inn is an 18th century inn that has 22 rooms. It is on 5 acres and is pet friendly. They will give a 10% rate reduction if you mention Martha Ingram. They have a wonderful dining room and excellent food. It is about 20 minutes from the show site.dinner with Round Table discussions on Thursday 9/28 with reservations required. Griff Shop Club logo and specialty logo items are available through this site. Orders, payment and shipping are done directly with the vendor.
