7 Page 7 of Allied Relations Council Board BACCHUS BASH 2017 Join the 2017 Bacchus Bash Team!!! CFHLA is currently seeking Members to serve as volunteers on the 2017 Bacchus Bash Committee. This year, each committee member will be invited to join 1 Bacchus Bash Sub-Committee, and to donate a minimum of 1 bottle of wine for wine baskets and 1 item for the Silent Auction or Raffle. The committee is only scheduled to meet 4 times, during the months of January, February, and March. 9 Page 9 of 17 CFHLA will be collecting NEW Sneakers for more than 10,000 Homeless Students in the Central Florida area to receive as Gifts this Holiday Season. **NOTE: All sizes, for ages 4-19 are needed and will be accepted.** The final collection for 2016 is set to occur in conjunction with the 2016 CFHLA Hospitality Gala Saturday, December 10th, at 6PM Hosted at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort Located at Universal Orlando Please consider donating a new pair of Sneakers to "drop-off" at the Hospitality Gala Official Collection Site -OR- If you are NOT attending the Gala, Sneakers may be brought to the CFHLA Offices by Friday, December 9th at 1PM. 13 Page 13 of 17 GRAND OPENING On Thursday, November 3 Loews Sapphire Falls Resort held their "Official" Grand Opening Celebration. Now hosting 1,000 rooms, Sapphire Falls is the fifth Hotel on the Universal Orlando Campus. Additionally, on Monday, November 7 Universal Orlando announced that a new hotel, Universal's Aventura Hotel, will open Summer of 2018.

14 Page 14 of 17 This property will top off with 16 levels featuring an all-glass exterior design. The lobby will boast 18-foot windows with guest rooms showcasing floor to ceiling windows. Additional amenities will include a pool, hot tub, a rooftop cocktail bar, a casual food hall, and a kids' splash pad.
