In the heart of the Kawarthas, The Village Inn's retreat, meeting and conference facilities offer the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the urban landscape while meeting all your modern meeting requirements. Colonel Sam Strickland was a prominent figure in Lakefield history. He was active in politics, religion, and a very successful businessman. We have named our meeting and conference room in his honor for his impact on the development of Lakefield. The Colonel Sam Strickland Meeting and Conference Centre can be utilized as one large meeting space, comfortably accommodating seating for up to 70 people, or can be divided to accommodate smaller groups. Our facilities have high-speed internet connections, permitting video conferencing and computer networking. We specialize in co-ordinating full serviced events.
