Food questions should be answered in this directions page or contact Host. All Gym sites will open at 8AM, Captains meeting at 8:15 or before, if all teams are in attendance. All teams must be in attendance at start in the event pool play is changed COACHES: Immediately upon arrival- find gym supervisor, check in, and get your coaches packet. Each coach will receive a Coaches Packet with Pool Format, line up sheets, score report forms. Coaches meeting will be 8:15 prompt or before, if all teams are in attendance. TEAMS/PARENTS: Help our officials. The Palmetto Region this year has invested to hire professional officials to work as R1. Since they are there all day with little breaks, we are asking teams to offer them drinks and food- if everyone pitches in- should not be a burden on any one team. Thank you! Plex HiWire Sandhills Address 741 Fashion Drive, Columbia, SC Special Rules: limited to the court area. No outside food or drinks allowed inside, but there is a Full Café. There are also multiple restaurants in the Sandhills Area. Hi- Food Rules/ Wire, Jumpin Jacks, and the Plex arcade are available activities for siblings. See Plex for prices. Food Table Information It will be very difficult and inconveient to set-up food tables outside. Due to fire codes, no one is allowed to set up at the front of the building like in the past. If you do decide to set-up a food table, it must be outside either to the far right or far left of the building. It must be in a grass area and not in any parking slots. No exceptions. Teams should bring trash bags and clean up their outside areas throughout the day and at the end of the day. Teams are to bring their trash bags to the dumpster. Bleachers are available, but there is limited seating. One or two rows of sports chairs can be used in front of bleachers. Do not block walkways. Parking lot is at the front of the building. Please only park in designated slots. Do not park on the curb or on fire lanes. Drop off is not allowed in the fire lanes. There are a couple of nice hotels off of exit 80. These include Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn. From: Greenville Take I-385 South to I-26 East towards Charleston. When you get to Columbia take I-20 East towards Florence. Follow I-20 towards Florence until you come to exit 80 (Clemson Road) Take a left off the exit ramp and follow Clemson Road approximately 4-5 miles After going over the Two Notch Road overpass there will be a new shopping center. This shopping center will be located on the left. Take the first entrance into the new shopping center (Village at Sandhills) Follow the road around to the left on Forum Drive.
