Franchise Relations The Ambience Hospitality management team has developed strong relationships with the leading lodging franchisors, including Hilton Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels Group, Wyndham Hotels, and La Quinta. We are able to react to local market conditions by seeking the franchise brand needed to enhance a particular hotel's location and meet the needs of the market. We have proven our abilities in smaller communities in New Mexico and Texas, as well as major metropolitan area. Property Management Ambience Hospitality brings a proven level of talent and skill to the hospitality industry with an unparalleled record of success. As a result, we have steadily grown to be one of the largest independent hotel management companies in New Mexico. We have demonstrated that our successful property management system begins with the basics: ensuring the grounds are maintained and manicured, maintaining the highest level of cleanliness possible, hiring and training associates who have a genuine desire to provide exceptional service, maintaining effective cost control practices, and keeping all equipment in peak operating condition.
3 RevPAR Growth We are committed to an intense focus on revenue maximization and occupancy growth to effectively achieve growth in Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR), and consistently succeed in excess of the competitive hotels in our various markets. Asset Management We strive to maintain our hotels in the best possible physical condition. We do this through a highly effective preventive maintenance program for all guestrooms, public areas and heavy equipment maintenance. We conduct structured property visits and internal audits specifically tailored to assess the asset maintenance at each hotel. Cost Controls Ambience Hospitality has developed several highly advanced tools and measurements to monitor and establish effective practices to manage costs unique to each hotel and location. Guest Satisfaction Providing exceptional guest service is a critical element in the hospitality industry. We are committed to our goal for each of our hotels to score in the top 10 percent of the brand service ranking. Achieving this goal starts with hiring motivated people and giving them the knowledge, tools, resources and training they need to meet or exceed guest expectations. This practice has resulted in 71% of our hotels receiving recognition awards from their respective brands and other industry leaders. Many of these properties received multiple high level awards.
4 Management Team The Ambience Hospitality management team provides positive and professional hotel management services with over 95+ years of combined hospitality experience. We focus on maximizing revenue while maintaining the highest level of quality to ensure the greatest guest experience and satisfaction possible. We provide a hands on approach with each hotel to maximize efficiency and develop new sales strategies within each unique market. Associates of our hotels enjoy safe and healthy work environments. We believe maintaining healthy employee relations in an organization are a pre-requisite for organizational success.
5 Corporate Leadership Dan Kumar, CHO President, Chief Executive Officer Our President, CEO, and leader is Dan Kumar, an entrepreneur, hotelier, and real estate developer. He is highly experienced in development, construction, acquisitions, renovations, property improvement plans (PIP), and financing, as well as revenue management and general management. His hospitality experience covers more than 22 years in New Mexico and he has extensive knowledge and experience with all areas of hospitality financial materials. His professionalism has established very good relations with our hospitality franchisors. In addition to his taking care of all corporation details and requirements, he also holds a contractor license, is a Certified Hotel Owner, and is an active member of the AAHOA. Parin Kumar, CHO Vice President, Chief Operations Officer Being part of the hospitality industry since her teen years, Parin Kumar has enjoyed success in all aspects of hotel management. Her focus and drive has given her insights and experience in the industry that gave her an edge and she has earned high level franchise awards as a successful General Manager. Parin is a Certified Hotel Owner, and is an active member of the AAHOA. She has a proven track record of successful hotel operations with national brands such as; Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, and Super 8, often in some difficult markets. Focusing on revenue management, cost controls, and maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness, her hotels have won recognition from franchisors and guests alike. With her vast knowledge and experience she now directs detailed efforts to our properties to ensure operational accomplishments, including control of expenses in supplies, labor, and utilities. Parin s revenue management skills support the hotels, by driving ADR and RevPAR, to position the hotels as leaders in their respective markets.
6 Hotel Performance Support Team Will Maguire, CHA, Hampton Inn Ambassador GM Regional Director of Operations, Corporate Office Working in hospitality for over 30 years, doing everything from washing dishes in restaurants to kitchen manager, from night audit to General Manager, Will Maguire has acquired extensive experience in every aspect and department a hotel can have. As a hotel General Manager he has earned awards and industry recognition for cleanliness, guest service, and brand standards; working with such brands as Best Western, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Comfort Inn, as well as independent nonbranded hotel. Will has earned GM certification from Hilton Hampton Inn, IHG Holiday Inn, Choice Hotels HOST certificate, and in 2002 he achieved the nationally recognized designation as Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) from American Hotel and Lodging Association. Most recently, he has been honored by Hampton Inn by being selected as part of an exclusive team of Hampton Ambassadors, providing assistance and coaching for other Hampton general managers. He has authored two books for the hotel industry during his career, dealing with guest service and hotel cleanliness.
7 Hotel Performance Support Team Michaela Dodson Regional Director of Operations, New Mexico & Texas Michaela brings her specialized IHG knowledge and skills from over six years experience as Revenue Manager and General Manager within IHG and La Quinta brands to our corporate leadership team. Her determination, drive and intense focus with a view to constant growth and improvement provides a fantastic service to our hotels, General Managers, and team members. Riddhi Bhakta Executive Assistant, Office Manager Riddhi comes to us with hotel operations experience and a professional approach to keeping our systems in smooth running order. Her time working the front lines in hotels as well as in professional offices, makes her an invaluable member of our corporate team.
8 Property Support Team Tammy Baca, Executive Brand Specialist, La Quinta Inn & Suites Tammy Baca is a GM of The Year Award winner and has proven her abilities to hotel operations with dedication and focus to our La Quinta Inn & Suites branded hotels. Her total dedication, along with her desire to learn, has made her five years with us extremely valuable to our overall operations. John Richmond, BS-HRTM, Executive Brand Specialist, Hampton Inn by Hilton Our resident expert of all things Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton, John joins our team with more than ten years hospitality experience with food service and hotels. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from New Mexico State University. His primary focus in management and operations over the past four years has been with Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites.

With over six years of hospitality experience, he brings insights and understanding of hotel sales and operations that has proven to be effective. His main focus and input for our company support, is with the Holiday Inn, as well as Holiday Inn Express brands. Chrisula Webb Lead General Manager, Eastern New Mexico Area With six years of hospitality experience, Chrisula is an asset to our team by providing specialized focus as our Lead General Manager, coaching, guiding, and supporting the managers of our business interests within the Portales and Clovis areas.
