3 THE CONCEPT Only YOU Hotels was founded with the determined purpose of rethinking and reinventing the luxury hotel experience so that it would meet the expectations of the most cosmopolitan travellers. 4 THE BRAND When the Only YOU Hotels brand was set up, it was with the express aim of expanding the brand to major cities both at home and abroad, replicating the original concept yet adapting each hotel s interior design to provide a different ex perience in terms of atmosphere and décor without compromising our guarantee in terms of services and concept. 10 ARCHITECTURE Located in an historical building from the 19th century that originally belonged to the Marquis of Alhama, a title that was created in 1865 by Queen Isabel II. Before it was turned into an hotel, this historic building housed several large apartments not to mention a famous bookshop known as El Padrino whose façade and original letters have been preserved. Immerse yourself in the hotel s most magical corners, filled with light, warmth and design, arranged in such a way that they can be enjoyed at any time of day. Carlos Hernández-Carrillo, an architect with Estudio b76, and his team that specialises in work of this nature, was in charge of refurbishing the hotel. The decoration bears the hallmark of the prestigious interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, who has created a welcoming, warm and so phisticated space that reinterprets in a modern, elegant and pleasant manner the styles of the Spanish Colonies and the Mediterranean.
