2 Adventurous Destination - Komodo 1 KOMODO ISLAND It is one of the 17,508 islands in Indonesia. A surface area of 390 sq. km and a human population of over Part of the Lesser Sunda chain of islands and forms part of the Komodo National Park. Popular destination for not only for diving and also KOMODO DRAGON (the world's largest living lizard).

It composed of three major islands (Rinca, Komodo, and Padar) and numerous smaller ones, all of them of volcanic origin. Dry climate, open grass-woodland savanna to tropical deciduous (monsoon) forest and quasi cloud forest.

4 New Adventurous Destination Destination - Komodo- Komodo 3 KOMODO DRAGON Komodo has been included into the controversial New7Wonders of Nature list since November 11, 2011 Around 5,700 giant lizards, whose appearance and aggressive behavior have led to them being called 'Komodo dragons'. They exist nowhere else in the world and are of great interest to scientists studying the theory of evolution. The largest living species of lizard, growing to a maximum length of 3 metres (10 ft) in rare cases and weighing up to approximately 70 kilograms (150 lb).

All of them start from the ticket office at Loh Liang. Short trek - Around one hour Goes along flat trails within the dry forest Suitable for visitors who do not have much time, for families with small children, or for people who prefer a relaxed and nonstrenuous hike. Medium trek Around 1.5H Passes a waterhole where the Timor deer and wild pigs often come to drink. Sometimes, dragons can be found there lying around and waiting. Climb Sulphurea Hill and Frigate Hill, where a magnificent view across the islands, bays and beaches awaits. Long trek Around 2.5H Leads you up another hill, to pass the location where Komodo dragons used to be fed in front of enthralled tourist crowds.

All of them start from the ticket office at Loh Buaya. Short trek - Around 30Mins An easy, shaded walk that passes an artificial waterhole before ascending to a small hill with a view over the bay. Medium trek - Around 1H Winds between dragon nests and out into the sunshine across an exposed savannah that is studded with lontar palms. Long trek - Around 2H The best opportunity to see dragons and their prey, to pass a permanent waterhole and across steep, exposed slopes that offer breathtaking views.
