We would like to extend to each and every one of you an open invitation to attend our Central States Promenade All the fun and festivities will start on Thursday, April 28, 2011 and will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel Kansas City International Airport, 7640 NW Tiffany Springs Parkway, Kansas City, MO Their phone number is The room rate is $89.00 per night plus tax. All the rooms are suites. We have reserved 90 rooms for this event so make your reservations early as all rooms not reserved by March 29, 2011 will be returned to the hotel for their normal bookings. The room rate will not be effective for 40 and 8 Central States Promenade reservations after that date. Be sure to mention that you are with the 40 and 8 Central States Promenade. There are only seven handicap accessible rooms available so if you fit into this category, please ask early because these are on a first come, first served basis. Make all your room reservations directly with the hotel reservations numbers, or you can mail in the attached room reservation form. There are seven smoking rooms in this hotel. Small pets are allowed but cost $10.00 per day. Kansas City bills itself as the "Heart of America." The city is famous for its stockyards, saxophone player Charlie "Bird" Parker and his Kansas City-style bebop, and some of the best barbecue in the world. The city has more boulevards than Paris and more working fountains (212 and counting) than any city but Rome. Giving Kansas City its second nickname: "The City of Fountains." The Embassy Suites Hotel is 15 miles north of downtown Kansas City. If you are planning on coming in a RV/motor home or camper, let us know. The hotel has said that you can park them on the north or south side, or we will give you information to a local camp site.

2 We have decided again to keep prices the same as last year's price and absorb the cost increases. Individual registrations for this event will still be $50.00 per person and registration kit includes our Friday evening B-B-Q meal, our Saturday evening banquet, your Central States Promenade 2011 Pin, your Souvenir Program Book, and of course, the Show Me Missouri Grand s own Hospitality Room. Please fill out the registration form completely when returning your reservations. Naturally, for those of you who like to stay close to home, our hospitality rooms will be open for your pleasure. For those of you who intend to fly into Kansas City, the hotel is just 5 minutes from the airport and they have an airport shuttle bus to pick you up. Just give the hotel a call when you arrive.
