September 2006 Embassy Suites Hotels becomes the first hotel brand to offer registration kiosks in 100 percent of its hotels. The brand also becomes the first to offer airline boarding pass printing directly from the kiosk. New upgrades feature software and service solution by Uniguest and remote printing by PrinterOn. Embassy Suites Hotels teams up with Kodak to offer complimentary one-time use Kodak PlusDigital 35 mm cameras to families checking in. Embassy Suites Hotels adds 10 more cities to the Kids-Eye View program, the first-ever hotel program created by kids, for kids. Embassy Suites Hotels becomes the first hotel brand to standardize self-service check in by announcing plans to place EmbassyDirect Registration Kiosks in all hotel locations. Adding to its family-oriented amenities, Embassy Suites Hotels launches Kids-Eye View, the first-ever hotel program created by kids, for kids. The program is designed to help parents get inside information on what s hip, hot and happening in 10 destination cities across the United States through a survey of kids, ages six to 16, on topics ranging from the best skate parks to the best burger joints, shopping locations, museums and more. June 2004 All Embassy Suites Hotels provide high-speed Internet access (HSIA) to guests in 100 percent of guest suites with either wired or wireless solution; wireless HSIA in the lobby, atrium, prominent guest dining areas and the business center; wired HSIA in all meeting/conference rooms. Embassy Suites Hotels partners with Sony Pictures to develop a summer promotion tied to the studio s blockbuster hit, Spider-Man 2. The Spider-Man 2 Web Pack is offered to kids staying at Embassy Suites Hotels properties throughout the 2004 summer. May 2004 Embassy Suites Hotels is named one of the top hotel chains for families in the 2004 U.S. Family Travel Guide by Zagat Survey.

Power and Associates 2003 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index Study SM. The award not only marks the first time that a hotel brand has received the highest award in the upscale category for three consecutive years, but the only time a hotel brand has received a highest ranked position in five consecutive years (in the first two years, the brand achieved highest ranking in the all-suite segment). The opening of the Embassy Suites Hotel Niagara Falls-Fallsview, the largest hotel in the Embassy Suites Hotels portfolio, marks the brand s rebirth in Canada. Embassy Suites Hotels and TBWA\Chiat\Day New York are awarded a Grand EFFIE by the New York American Marketing Association for the Austin Broadcast Campaign, representing a first for the hospitality industry. Grand EFFIEs are chosen from the winners of the gold EFFIEs and recognize campaigns that best combine all the disciplines to create a successful marketing program - planning, market research, media, creative and account management. EFFIE is one of the most prestigious awards in the advertising industry. Embassy Suites Hotels receives the 2003 Playful Travel Award as Suite-est Hotel Chain for Families from Nick Jr. Family Magazine. Embassy Suites Hotels and its public relations agency, Cohn & Wolfe Los Angeles, are awarded the Public Relations Society of America s (PRSA) Silver Anvil, the Academy Award of public relations, for the Creativity Suite initiative. Brand launches Creativity Suite at the Embassy Suites Hotel New York City as a test concept, inspiring business travelers to better utilize the spaciousness of the suite and increase their effectiveness while on the road. The suite is designed with input from a Creative Board of Directors and based on results of a national creativity survey. Embassy Suites Hotel Chicago Downtown Lakefront opens, representing the Hilton Family s 2001 st hotel opening overall and underscoring the brand s focus on urban mixeduse development. The brand tops the upscale segment with the Highest Guest Satisfaction Among Upscale Hotel Brands award in the J.D. Power and Associates 2001 Domestic Hotel Guest Satisfaction Study SM. The award marks the third consecutive year that Embassy Suites Hotels has received a top ranking in the study. Importantly, although it is the first year the brand competed within the upscale category, it outranks the other major upscale, fullservice brands included in the study. January 2001 Embassy Suites Hotels teams up with the Starlight Children s Foundation to help make dreams come true for hundreds of seriously ill children whose wishes are to take family vacations. As the official hotel of the Starlight Children s Foundation s Wishes Program, Embassy Suites Hotels provides 2,000 complimentary suite nights to Starlight wish families during 2001.
