REGISTRATION, FEES AND PAYMENT Entry Deadline Entry Submission Information February 28, 2017 at 11:59 EST. All registration and entries must be sent using Synchro Canada s E-Sport Event Registration program online. To confirm registration, please forward a copy of your registration in pdf format to registrar@synchro.ca. Changes to entries can be made on the E-Sport registration site until the deadline. Information recorded on E-Sport will be automatically downloaded into the scoring program. Please ensure that the submitted information is accurate. Any changes after the deadline can be made by only and will be subject to a late fee. 3 Hospitality Fee for Athletes Late Entry Fee Payment Summary Payment To be determined. According to CASSA Rule, 5.1.5, fees of $25 per routine are charged for any late, incorrect and/or incomplete entries by the stated deadline(s), payable to Synchro Canada. It is the coach s and/or swimmer s responsibility to pay this fine to the appropriate official by one hour before the beginning of the competition for that category. Failure to do so shall result in disqualification. The final deadline for late entries is two weeks prior (Tuesday, March 7th, 2017, 11:59 pm EST) prior to the start date of the meet. No entries will be accepted after this date. Complete payment should include: Registration fees Athlete surcharge Hospitality fee Fees for Photos for display on Video Screens. Open pool time booking Food All Clubs competing at the 2017 Qualifier Championships will be able to book practice time with music in the Competition Pool on Monday March 20th, Details to come in the next package. An athlete lounge with tables and seating for approximately 200 people will be provided in the «foyer» near the competition pool for the entire event. Clubs are allowed to bring food into the facility and it will be possible to heat up meals in the lounge. Preliminary Information Package page 3

All meet information packages and other important communications will be on the Synchro Canada website, All official information packages and correspondence will be provided in French and English. All event announcements will be made in French and English. The figures draw will be determined by Synchro Canada. All results will be sent to coaches by and will be posted on Synchro Canada Website ( immediately following each event. Trained Lifeguards will be on deck at all times during the competition. All tickets must be purchase at the PEPS ticketing office. Prices will be in the next package. All athletes can be photographed and videotaped during the event. Photos / videos will be made public, without authorization from parents or clubs. Please refer to Synchro Canada for Guidelines for Coach and Athlete behavior at competitions. Please refer to Synchro Canada Website regarding drug tests and banned substances. 2. 5 3. HOTEL & ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION Please note that it is the Club s responsibility to book their own accommodation. Clubs/competitors attending the 2017 Synchro Canada Canadian Qualifier Championships are invited to choose a hotel from the list below or another property in Quebec City. Clubs staying outside the organization s announced and preferred hotel list (included below) will be assessed a hotel subsidy fee of $400 per club in addition to the usual Synchro Canada event entry fees and athlete surcharge. 10 7. CLUB INFORMATION AND SPACING REQUEST FORMS The club information and spacing request forms will be online at a later date. 8. ATHLETES SURCHARGE AND ATHLETES HOSPITALITY FEES ATHLETE SURCHARGE - $75 This surcharge is assessed to each athlete attending each of the national competitions (i.e. Qualifier or Nationals) to offset the costs of having officials at these meets. This surcharge is charged only once per athlete per meet. (i.e. if a club has 15 athletes attending Qualifier they pay $1125=15 x $75 no matter how many solos, duets or team events they have). This surcharge is to be paid along with the entry fees. For those clubs whose province pays this fee, the club is to communicate with their provincial office to obtain the refund by submitting a copy of their roster as verification. ATHLETE HOSPITALITY To be determined An online form used to determine athletes surcharge and athlete hospitality fees will be at a later date. 9. PHOTOS FOR DISPLAY ON HD VIDEO SCREEN Clubs will have the opportunity to send team pictures to be displayed on one of the HD video screens during breaks and warmups. Details to come at a later date. 10. EVENT MERCHANDISE Details to come at a later date. 11. TRANSPORTATION Transportation to and from the pool is the responsibility of individual clubs. Please note that the airport is about a 20 minutes drive to the PEPS Université Laval. 12. PARKING Parking is not always free of charge week days at the PEPS. You can have a peek at the schedule here: Costs will be indicated directly on the parking meter. Please note that a specific parking will be free of charge for buses throughout the competition.
