1 GERMAN RHAPSODY 11 Nights / 12 Days Day 01 Arrive Frankfurt Arrive at Frankfurt today. You will be met by a local representative and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure on own. Frankfurt, a central German city on the river Main, is a major financial hub that's home to the European Central Bank. It's the birthplace of famed writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose former home is now the Goethe House Museum. Like much of the city, it was damaged during World War II and later rebuilt. The reconstructed Altstadt (Old Town) is the site of Römerberg, a square that hosts an annual Christmas market. This old imperial city on the River Main - hence its full name, Frankfurt am Main - is, by virtue of its central situation, the most important commercial and economic center on mainland Europe. The city's skyline, dominated by the great cluster of high-rise buildings in the banking quarter, has a distinct North American flavor, earning Frankfurt the nicknames "Manhattan" and "Chicago on the Main. Frankfurt also has huge trade fair complex, Messe Frankfurt, hosting important events such as the Frankfurt Book Fair (the world's most important publishing event), along with many fine museums, galleries, and gardens. Day 02 Frankfurt Rhine Cruise Cologne Dusseldorf After breakfast, check out and proceed first to take the Rhine Cruise cruise through the UNESCO listed Rhine Valley on a boat, see landmarks like the Loreley Rock and Rudesheim, sample wines from the Rhine Valley region, then stop for lunch and then proceed north along the Rhine Valley before arriving in Cologne, Germany s fourth largest and oldest city. See the impressive Gothic Cathedral regarded as a masterwork of medieval architecture. Cologne also has innumerable cultural and historical treasures, world-famous museums and active art scene. Then proceed to Dusseldorf - is a city in western Germany

2 known for its fashion industry and art scene. It's divided by the Rhine River, with its Altstadt (Old Town) on the east bank and modern commercial areas to the west. Hamelin is a picturesque town of fairytale fame and is immortalised in poems by Goethe and Robert Browning. Hamelin is best known for the tale of the Pied Piper of Hamelin. Then proceed to Hamburg. Arrive at Hamburg and check in at your hotel. Hamburg, a major port city in northern Germany, is connected to the North Sea by the Elbe River. It's crossed by hundreds of canals, and also contains large areas of parkland. Near its core, Inner Alster lake is dotted with boats and surrounded by cafes. The city's central Jungfernstieg boulevard connects the Neustadt (new town) with the Altstadt (old town), home to landmarks like 18th-century St. Michael s Church. 3 Day 04 Hamburg Berlin After breakfast, check out and transfer to Berlin. Follow the valley of the River Elbe from Hamburg, across the former 'Iron Curtain' to the historic city of Berlin. Berlin, Germany s capital, dates to the 13th century. Reminders of the city's turbulent 20th-century history include its Holocaust memorial and the Berlin Wall's graffitied remains. Divided during the Cold War, its 18th-century Brandenburg Gate has become a symbol of reunification. 7 Day 10 Munich Neuschwanstein Black Forest After breakfast, check out and proceed towards the fairy tale land of King Ludwig II with an included visit to Neuschwanstein Castle.
