With a beautiful fireplace and elegant art glass fixtures, this space is easily transformed from tasteful reception to impressive meeting space. An additional table can be added to the room for up to 6 additional guests.

Most of our wedding ceremonies take place on this three-tiered terrace overlooking the formal garden, Glensheen's hand-carved marble fountain and, of course, Lake Superior. 9 Rates University of Minnesota Duluth University departments and collegiate units receive discounted rates when renting space at Glensheen during off-peak hours, Monday through Thursday. Off-Peak Rates Monday - Thursday 4 hours $100 UMD discounted off-peak rates are priced in 4-hour blocks of time for 120 guests or fewer. UMD discounted rates do not apply on holidays and do not include tours of the mansion or estate. Peak Rates Friday - Sunday 1 to 20 guests $1, to 50 guests $2, to 120 guests $3, to 300 guests $7,200 Additional Fees Security $50 / hr Required for groups of 100 or more when alcohol is present. Groups larger than 120 guests are required to rent a tent at renter s expense.

A minimum of 8 guides will be stationed throughout the first floor providing mini-guided experiences in each room of that floor. Self-Guided Tours are only available during nontour hours unless otherwise noted.
