The capital, Tunis, the blue and white Mediterranean village of Sidi Bou Said, the Bardo Museum, The El Jem Coliseum, the Berber villages in the desert, the Oasis mountains and of course the majestic Sahara... A calendar with the various excursions will be available for you in the travel documents one month prior to departure. A minimum of participants can be required so we strongly suggest purchasing them early upon arrival. Various stores and local restaurants do not accept credit cards or apply a surcharge when using a credit card, so it is good to bring a certain amount of Canadian dollars that you will change for Tunisian Dinars at the front desk of your hotel. We suggest you just bring your debit card as ATM machine are found near the hotel and everywhere in town. Last, but not least, remember to bring some warm clothes and rain gear. Travelling to the Mediterranean can be hot during the day, but a lot cooler in the morning and at night. We hope this helps in your preparations.
