18 CULINARY INSTITUTE OF AMERICA An exemplar of Downtown Napa s ongoing transformation, The Culinary Institute of America s recent purchase of the 80,000 square foot Copia building on First Street encapsulates the spirit of progress that s sweeping through Napa. Adjacent to Oxbow Public Market and a short walk from First Street Napa, the CIA will offer culinary education and a wide array of food and wine offerings to encourage visitors to spend more time in Downtown Napa - year round. The CIA s Food Business School - the world s first for food entrepreneurship and innovation, which opened in Spring 2016, is headquartered at Copia with programming already underway.
