The property, which dates back to the sixteenth century, offers an incredible mixture of old and new thanks to a magnificent refurbishment which cleverly mixes the charm and history of the property with sleek and modern finishes. The palazzo is located in a gorgeous square in the historical centre of the town and opens out onto a wonderful internal courtyard. The palazzo covers a total area of 600 m2 over two floors that can also be divided into four independent units if required. The spacious interior has large glass doors with vaulted ceilings which delivers brightness throughout the house. The white walls are interspersed with stylish modern furniture arranged tastefully alongside antique pieces and fine art from the owner s private collection. The Palazzo can comfortably sleep up to 14 guests in four welcoming double bedrooms and two large triple bedrooms. There are six bathrooms in total. The property offers great spaces for relaxing including a large dining room and a gorgeous living room, the contemporary dining table seats up to 16 guests and has a lovely view out over the garden. The property includes several fullyequipped, modern kitchens. Outside, there is a lovely outdoor patio which is perfect for al fresco dining. The garden includes a splendid, long swimming pool. The pool area is equipped with lounge chairs and sunbeds on a wooden deck. There are also two additional bedrooms contained within the property which can be used as staff accommodation or for children if required. In addition to this, for larger groups there is an extra attic apartment consisting of two ensuite bedrooms that can accommodate up to 4 guests that can be rented at an additional price. The villa is located 16 km from Otranto with its superb cathedral and wonderful beaches. Otranto is on the spectacular Adriatic coastline and offers sandy beaches and beach clubs. The villa is 1 km from Maglie, 16 km from Castro, 35 km from Santa Maria di Leuca, which is right on the southernmost tip of Puglia. It is 35 km from Gallipoli, the last outpost of Magna Grecia and 40 km from Ugento. The stunning, Baroque capital of Lecce is 35 km away and if you enjoy a round of golf, there is an 18-hole Golf Club only 37 km away in Acaya.
