9 Personalities Masami Egami General Manager Mr. Egami has had over 24 years of international experience in the hospitality industry from various chains such as Hilton, InterContinental and Le Meridien, before joining Kempinski in 2010 as the Hotel Manager at Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and thereafter as the General Manager for Kempinski Hotel Aqaba Red Sea in Both properties were consistently awarded with impressive titles, such as the Best Hotel in Jordan in 2011 and the later as the Best Hotel Among Kempinski Hotels Worldwide during his leadership. As the General Manager at Baie Lazare, Egami s objective is to further enrich guests experiences through European luxury hospitality on the island of Mahé. A Japanese national, Mr. Egami is fluent in Japanese, and English. Hamzeh Abu El-Foul Executive Chef Hamzeh Abu El-Foul brings a wealth of experience and innovative vision to the Baie Lazare, following numerous postings in deluxe and luxury hotels in Jordan, Egypt, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. He is, however, no stranger to the Kempinski brand as he was the Executive Chef at Kempinski Hotel Aqaba Red Sea in his native Jordan from 2012 to Abu El-Foul, who has cooked for the likes of Jordanian and Saudi royalty, looks forward to this latest challenge. I am really excited to be working in this unique environment.
