4 Bryant Courtyards A Tranquil and Historic Venue The Bryant Courtyards Arts Complex has a longestablished presence within the thriving Mission Arts District. Its prominence is due not only to its striking architecture, but is due in large measure to the man who created this venue in the late 19th Century. Vittorio Sattui established his winery here in the 1880 s. Entirely dependent on horse-drawn wagons for hauling grapes in and shipping barrels out, his operation surrounded a courtyard used for stabling and other winery operations.
