1 Schenectady Curling Club 57th Annual Green Jr. Bonspiel Invitation March 2-4, 2018 For those teams that have played in this Bonspiel before you know how much fun this is! We host teams from all over the Northeast along with teams from Canada. It is a weekend of great curling, great food and a fun DJ-Karaoke party Saturday night. 3 games guaranteed and 4 events with pins for winners/finalists. T-shirts for all entrants. Extra shirts $10. Friday - game night, Saturday - DJ-Karaoke. The rink fee is $160 USD ($40 for individual curlers). The fee includes all meals. Let us know if you need a sub or have anyone looking to sub for another club. Sign up soon, the bonspiel is limited to 24 teams. Entry deadline is February 25, We will be doing online registration in addition to the traditional registration form. We will accept teams on a first come, first served basis! It is recommended to get your entry in as soon as possible. IMPORTANT: Local housing will not be organized by event chairs or the Schenectady Curling Club. Please use hotels provided or other local arrangements. Although we are not officially offering housing, feel free to reach out to members who ve offered housing in the past. Cash and checks made payable to the Schenectady Curling Club will be accepted at the time of registration. PLEASE REMIND ALL CURLERS OF THE FOLLOWING! *This is a Junior event, so there is NO SMOKING OR DRINKING anywhere from the time you arrive at the bonspiel until the time you leave, even if you are legally old enough to do so! Please remember that if one team member messes up the ENTIRE team is asked to leave.

2 DIRECTIONS: The Schenectady Curling Club 1084 Balltown Rd Schenectady, NY (518) From NYS Thruway (East or West): Exit the NYS Thruway at exit 25 (Schenectady, I-890). Take I-890 west for approximately 2.1 miles to exit 7 (Troy, HWY 7). Follow HWY 7 for approximately 2 miles. Turn left on to Balltown Rd (HWY 146). Follow Balltown Rd approximately 0.4 miles. Our entrance is on the right, across from the fire station. From the Northway (North): Exit the Northway (I-87) at exit 9W Take 146 for approximately 5 miles. Turn left, still following 146 toward Rexford. Take the Rexford Bridge across the Mohawk River and continue on 146, up the hill (Balltown Road) for approximately 4.5 miles. Our driveway is on the left, across from the fire station. Accommodations are available at the following hotels. Please make sure you identify yourself with the Bonspiel.
