Flowers adorn all the rooms, their scent in competition with the tang of wood smoke from the log fires. All our food home made and prepared daily from fresh local produce - with our own home baked bread. A wide and varied menu is always available in our restaurant. All have private bathroom, colour television, trouser press, tea and coffee facilities, radio alarm, direct dial telephone and hair dryer. For those who would prefer their own lounge, garden and courtyard suites are avilable. All rooms have commanding country views, some with south facing balconies affording views over the Sid valley and beyond.

5 ELEGANT DINING Our newly refurbished restaurant provides a comfortable setting to enjoy the fine food we pride ourselves in serving. Large picture windows look out over the sun terrace where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink. On balmy summer evenings, why not take your meal on the sun terrace - the choice is yours. Our purpose built function suite has stunning views; its traditional open-beamed ceiling and sun balcony provide the perfect surroundings for private dinner parties, family gatherings or business meetings. For that special occasion a champagne breakfast on the sun balcony will always be remembered

6 THE IDEAL TOURING CENTRE The Sid Valley Country Hotel is just 15 minutes from Exeter, and nestles in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty 5 miles from the famous Lace and Antique market town of Honiton and 2 miles from the Regency coastal town of Sidmouth. There are many local walks, including the Foxglove Way, plus cycling, fishing and horse riding with our own ponies or at nearby stables. The East Devon coast has recently been awarded World Heritage status. There are a number of golf courses nearby, with reduced fees at Sidmouth Golf Club for our guests.
