2 Purpose Share information (mostly about accommodation) Give a chance to ask questions Update on status of the championships

3 Preliminary Plan This plan is currently preliminary and is by no means final! Dubai 2019 LOC and WPA hope that the plan will not change much but we do reserve the right to change the plan where needed Goal is to have the final plan and to open official booking no later than the 1 st of April

4 Pricing and Cancelation All Prices and Cancelation Policies are currently being finalised Preferential Prices will be given compared to listed rates Cancelation Policy will be made as flexible as possible to help give nations some flexibility, however accurate bookings are recommended. Prices hopefully will be similar or lower than 2015 and 2017 world championships depending on which hotel is selected

5 Accessibility Accessible modifications will be made to all hotels to ensure they are usable for all team members including the building of additional ramps, moving of furniture and addition or slight modifications to bathrooms where needed Fully Accessible rooms will be distributed to NPCs based on high accessibility needs first and foremost and will not solely be assigned on order of booking

6 Al Bustan Centre & Residence 4 Star hotel 7 minute Walk from Hotel to Competition Venue Main hotel for all Dubai Club for the Determination events 420 Rooms available over 4 floors in combinations of single, double and some triple rooms Small Pool, small Fitness Centre available Meeting spaces available for reservation

10 Studio M 3 star hotel, only 2 months old 200 total single and twin rooms over 4 floors Some apartments may also be available 8 accessible rooms (all single beds), additional accessible modifications will be made 9 minutes by bus with traffic, 7 minutes by Dubai Metro (1 stop) Pool, small fitness centre 2 meeting rooms available for reservation

15 Hampton Inn Dubai Airport 3 star hotel, only 6 months old 350 rooms available with 1 queen, 1 queen and 1 sofa bed, and twin bed rooms over 12 floors Additional twin beds will try to be brought in to replace queen beds 6 accessible rooms with additional adjoining room available 5 minutes by bus, 16 minutes by metro to competition venue Large pool and fitness centre available 1 meeting room available for reservation, additional public meeting space is available in the hotel lobby

24 Booking Processes WPA plans to open the booking process no later than 1 April WPA will collect all bookings on behalf of the LOC through online forms and the Accommodation/Accreditation system Payment will be required within the listed time period on the invoice. Any payment not received by the listed deadline will result in all bookings being cancelled and rooms being made available for any team to reserve. Payment by Bank Transfer (credit card payment on special request) Further booking procedures will be provided in final accommodation information package
