17 Promenada Chiang Mai Project Overview Dutch developer ECC Group is building a large outdoor shopping mall in Chiang Mai, Thailand s fast-growing second city in the northern part of the country. When it opens next year, the new resort mall will feature over 350 stores and kiosks offering international, Thai and local Chiang Mai/Northern products, as well as entertainment and leisure. Rimping Superstore is one of the anchor tenants. The mall will have a tropical feeling and be located in the center of the new expansion area of Chiang Mai, surrounded by 80 new upscale residential projects with more than 11,000 households in the mid to higher-income bracket.
