5 Nicolae Bălcescu Land Forces Academy Sibiu PRACTICAL INFORMATION EUROPEAN UNION MILITARY ACADEMIES COMMANDANTS SEMINAR EUMACS 2019 Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy 1. Dates and Location Participants are commanders / representatives of higher education military institutions who are willing to take part at the EUROPEAN UNION MILITARY ACADEMIES COMMANDANTS SEMINAR EUMACS 2019, organized by Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy. The event will be held in the period 12-14(15) June 2019, during which the participants will attend presentations on suggested topics. Participants can also attend the Day of the Academy (13 th of June) and the 25 th International Scientific Conference The Knowledge-Based Organization 2019, which will be held in the period June For further details about the Conference, please contact Ms. Ramona Herman to provide you with all the information needed at the adress: international.relations@armyacademy.ro. 2. Accommodation and meals The participants are requested to book their own accommodation at their own responsibility and at your own expenses. All breakfasts are included in the booking of the hotel rooms and will be taken at the hotel. Lunches will be hosted by the LFA. The welcoming cocktail and the dinners will also be hosted by the LFA. 3. Costs No participation fee is required for the activities held during the EUMACS Costs of participation in the International Scientific Conference will be provided upon request to those interested. 4. Transportation Participants are requested to make their own travel arrangements to and from Sibiu (airport/railway station/bus station etc.). Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy will provide free transportation from the above mentioned locations to the Academy and back. Transportation from/to local airport or railway stations must be required in advance, preferably one week before arrival to the event. Free transport will be provided for participants according to the schedule throughout the entire duration of their stay. 5. Registration Please use the attached application form (if you do not have your transport details on this stage, you can send this information later on) and send it to the POC.
