Nestled on the west coast of the island, MARADIVA Villas Resort and Spa was designed in 2003 by the famous Mauritian architect Maurice Giraud. With over 200 staff members dedicated to serving the guests,maradiva promises the epitome of Mauritian hospitality. The 65 villas enjoy views of the ocean or the lush gardens, each with their own plunge pool. 4 PHILOSOPHY MARADIVA has been inspired by the colonial residences of the sugar cane plantation owners. With views of the ocean, MARADIVA boasts vast panoramas and light, open spaces with each residence enjoying high ceilings. Utmost attention has been given to the natural environment: seaward with the coral reef and landward towards the volcanic peaks. The striking colours of the landscape and the lush gardens give a serenity and sense of wellness to MARADIVA. NATURAL MATERIALS A Mauritian basaltic stone greets guests on the floors of all public areas, including the lobby and the main restaurant. Quartz slabs provide a wide palette of colours to cover the swimming pool, whilst bathrooms are enhanced by Italian marble. Jaisalmer, a stone from Rajasthan has been used in the Spa, alongside natural oak furniture. Rosewood from Madagascar covers the floors in the villas and all open spaces. Exteriors are covered with teak from Burma. Furniture is made with teak or sapele wood and the structural woodwork is made from Santos Rosewood. INTERIOR DESIGNS AT MARADIVA MARADIVA boasts an eclectic mix of Mauritian and Indian art. The furniture and the art that decorate each villa give a local air of authenticity. The wooden latticed doors allow light to stream through and the design is inspired by original Indian woodwork. A pair of Vrindavan lamps (traditional Indian lanterns) illuminate the private pool. The newly refurbished villas have a mix of traditional and contemporary designs. The wall panel behind the newly designed headboard features Hermes wallpaper. THE COLOURS OF MARADIVA The exterior colours of the Resort are in harmony with those of the landscape. The open lounge and the swimming pool reflect the colour tones of the ocean and the gardens. The interiors comprise of bright, bold colours while darker colour accents are provided by the handicraft pieces. Wood is in abundance to give warmth and add a local authentic feel.

6 PRESIDENTIAL SUITE POOL VILLA Two Presidential Suite Pool Villas (345 m 2 ) are at the heart of MARADIVA. They are situated on a crescent beach lagoon. Guests have a magnificent view of the stunning 56 square meter infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Both bedrooms enjoy the same view. The two bathrooms are decorated in Italian marble and are equipped with large bathtubs and refreshing rainfall showers. Each room is complete with an exterior garden-patio, a second outdoor shower, and a large walk in wardrobe. The sun beds and deep sofas in the gardens allow guests to enjoy the views of the natural scenery and the exotic gardens. Guests are provided with the services of a chef and a 24-hour butler. The lounge is equipped with a large 3D flat screen TV and a home cinema with surround sound, as well as highspeed internet connection. The bedrooms also have a flat screen TV and DVD player. The Presidential Suite Pool Villa is equally equipped with its own kitchenette.

7 EXCLUSIVE SUITE POOL VILLA Our 6 Exclusive Suite Pool Villas (220m 2) feature breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean, a spacious living room inside and a private garden and terrace outside for alfresco dining, lounging and swimming in a private twenty-five square meter infinity pool. Families can also take advantage of a connecting Beachfront Luxury Suite Pool Villa.

8 BEACHFRONT LUXURY SUITE POOL VILLA With close proximity to the beach, the Beachfront Luxury Suite Pool Villas boast an ocean view. LUXURY SUITE POOL VILLA Set in the lush tropical gardens, the Luxury Suite Pool Villas feature a garden view with enhanced privacy. GARDEN SUITE POOL VILLA Admist the tropical gardens, the Garden Suite Pool Villas boast a garden view. VILLA SERVICES Each of the above villa categories is of 163m 2 and have a 15 square meter plunge pool surrounded by a daybed and lush gardens. The outdoor living/dining area allows guests to relax in absolute intimacy. In villa services are available including room service on a 24 hour basis. The bedroom is kept cool with a ceiling fan and it is equipped with a large master bed, flat screen television, DVD player, private bar and high-speed internet connection. The spacious bathroom is neutral, with double washbasins, large bathtub and an open rainfall shower. The door of the bathroom connects with a garden-patio where there is a second outdoor shower, adding to the villa experience. A large dressing-room houses guests luggage and other personal belongings. ADDITIONAL SERVICES The refurbished villas are equipped with video inter-com and Voip phones for free international calls.

COAST2COAST RESTAURANT All day dining serving Mediterranean, Mauritian and International cuisines based entirely on fresh local produce in a relaxed ambience. This restaurant boasts a unique collection of copper engraved lamps that serve as ornaments in Indian temples. Guests can enjoy a quiet, tucked away corner in one of the three lounges of the restaurant or take advantage of the light winds on the terrace. BREAKERS BAR Breakers Bar is an excellent venue for relaxed entertainment. Nestled under intricate woodwork, guests enjoy a magnificent view out towards Le Morne and the ocean. Deep sofas and day beds invite guests to relax on the expansive terrace by the infinity pool. KARO DU CHEF Situated on 2 acres of land, providing over 40 different types of 100% organic own grown fruit, vegetables and aromatic local herbs. 70% of MARADIVA s production in the kitchen comes from the Karo du Chef. 11 CILANTRO RESTAURANT The new Indian and Asian gastronomic venue Cilantro is the name given to coriander. The design is romantic and Cilantro is a temple of modern Indian gastronomy. Its wine selection is enriched by an impressive selection of the most prestigious international wines. A large copper display suspended from the ceiling illustrates the incredible craftsmanship of Indian jewelers. Open from 19:00 to 22:30 / Dinner by reservation with the Concierge/ Smart Casual Closed on Sundays TEPPANYAKI One of the best Japanese Chefs of the island oversees the Teppan counter. In a social and convivial atmosphere, our Chef creates her own Japanese culinary art. Thai and Indochinese dishes are also served. Guests can choose between the 19:00 or 21:00 sitting. 13 MARADIVA SPA A place to harmonise the body and the soul. The perfume of essential oils greets your arrival at the MARADIVA Spa. The area is spacious (12,000 sq ft), with a feeling of comfort and well-being. The design is contemporary, with original sculpted wooden tables for ayurvedic treatments. The design of the Spa is strongly based on Indian philosophy. The facilities of the Spa include treatment suites, a relaxation pavilion, a chill pool, a hammam, a sauna and a laconium. In the yoga pavilion, guests are welcomed for relaxation and meditation sessions. A beauty salon provides a complete and comprehensive range of beauty treatments. The Ayurvedic treatments offered include the services of an Indian Ayurvedic doctor and his proposal of appropriate therapies, including deep muscular massages and aromatherapy sessions designed to purify and regenerate. The Spa includes six dedicated treatment rooms, each equipped with a steam room opening onto a private garden, two ayurvedic care rooms, and two double care suites designed for couples.the latter are equipped with a large carved stone Jacuzzi, providing total relaxation with the perfume of essential oils. 14 SPORTS CLUB & FITNESS ROOM Sports facilities and high technology equipment as well as assistance by experienced trainers are provided to guests. Sports equipment is divided across two distinct rooms: one for cardio exercise and the other for muscular workouts. Guests can also play tennis on a hard court equipped with day night lighting. KIDS CLUB The Kids Club is a dedicated space for children, offering a world of adventures where Peter Pan awaits them with a pirate boat and birds nest. The older children will find a multi-media space equipped with a home cinema and video games. The Kids Club also has a small restaurant. The village of Flic-en- Flac offers a vibrant beach environment during week ends and is only five minutes drive from Wolmar. It is a local community with private homes. Fashion and handicraft boutiques as well as supermarkets are also found there. Night life includes restaurants, bars, night-clubs and a casino. CLIMATE Sun, Sea and Sand In the central part of Mauritius, 600 metres above sea level, the main day temperature varies from 20 degrees celsius in August to 26 degrees celsius in February. In the coastal regions, temperatures are generally superior by 3 to 5 degrees celsius. The West and North regions are the warmest, less windy and relatively drier than the East and the South.
