3 Headlines from Q Unveiling our newest brand Our family of brands is growing with the introduction of a fresh, highquality midscale brand to our portfolio. The new brand, avid TM hotels, is designed for travellers who want the basics done exceptionally well at a fair price. avid hotels is now US franchise-ready and has been well received, with more than 150 written expressions of interest since launch and over 50 applications in the first four weeks of franchise sales. IHG Foundation Week 2017 the numbers IHG Foundation Week 2017 saw colleagues across the globe taking part to help build stronger, healthier, more prosperous communities around the world. This year s campaign was recordbreaking, with more than 1 million pledges made. More than 100,000 of you took part in over 10,000 events across each of our regions and this huge effort means that we ve raised vital funds for the IHG Foundation and each of the causes it supports. Thank you for your support and efforts in helping achieve this for a great cause. Holiday Inn - The Joy of Travel for All Our IHG-wide internal communications campaign continued with the next in our global hotel brands series. This time the focus turned to Holiday Inn with a campaign to drive deeper knowledge of what the brand stands for and its strategy to deliver continued growth. The campaign also set out what differentiates the brand and how it is bringing the joy of travel to guests all over the world. A name for our hotel technology platform We are excited to introduce IHG Concerto TM, a powerful platform designed to unite our hotels core technology into a seamless experience including the industry-leading Guest Reservation System (GRS). IHG Concerto features an intuitive interface to manage reservations, rates, inventory, yielding and price optimisation. In the future, it will include all key property systems and tools, making it even easier to deliver great guest service. Concerto is testing in hotels and will deploy globally throughout 2018, integrated with GRS. #1 ranking on the world s leading sustainability index IHG has been listed on the 2017 S&P Dow Jones Sustainability World and Europe Indices, one of the most prestigious global benchmarks for corporate sustainability performance. This is due to our first place ranking in RobecoSAM s Consumer Services Corporate Sustainability Assessment, where we attained the highest score in our industry. This recognises our performance in tackling the industry s biggest social, environmental and economic issues, as well our wider responsible business agenda.

The 181- room hotel is located in the heart of the International Drive Area close to attractions including Seaworld, Orange County Convention Center, Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. Guests can enjoy an Express Start TM Breakfast Bar, outdoor pool and a free shuttle service to local sights. 715/120, ,202/197, /6, /7, /25, We opened Kimpton Hotel Born, a 200-room hotel set at the heart of an urban redevelopment project in Denver, Colorado, US. Located a short distance from the train station, guests can be in Munich city centre in 10 minutes. 281/46, /29, /88 0 7/1,000 6 We opened Holiday Inn Express Malta, our first hotel for the brand in the country. The hotel features 118 guest rooms and is situated in the popular St Julian s area, just minutes from a sandy beach. TOTAL* 681/111, * Figures include unbranded, PAL and InterContinental Alliance hotels. We opened the 140-room Holiday Inn Istanbul Tuzla Bay hotel in Turkey. The hotel features nine meeting rooms, a fitness centre, an Open Lobby and cocktail lounge with a 180-degree sea view.

6 IHG in AMEA Round up Q Trading Update +0.6% RevPAR 7 Q openings 10 Q signings Our hotel portfolio Brands / in pipeline Key openings and signings in AMEA for Q3 69/21, / /0 1 76/21, /18, We opened the highest hotel in Vietnam, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72. Set at the top of the towering Keangnam Landmark72 from the 62nd to 71st floors, this 359-room hotel boasts a number of destination bars and restaurants, including Q Bar and Stellar the hotel s signature restaurant and steakhouse. 35/7, /2, /589 4 TOTAL* 291/83, * Figures include unbranded, PAL and InterContinental Alliance hotels. We signed Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Business Bay, UAE. Due to open in 2021, the hotel will be centrally located in Dubai s commercial and lifestyle hub close to local attractions. With 350 guest rooms, the hotel will offer two restaurants and a ballroom, forming part of a mixed-use development that includes 400 residences and a boutique shopping arcade.

Located in the centre of Lhasa, the 131-room hotel is close to major attractions such as Potala Palace, Norbulingka Summer Palace and Jokhang Temple. 83/29, /23, /22, /1,820 7 TOTAL* 316/98, Located in the historic district of Anping, we opened Crowne Plaza Tainan, Taiwan. Adjacent to the Lakeside Bird Park, and opposite the Taijiang National Park, the hotel features 231 WorkLife guest rooms, nearly half of which feature panoramic views of the ocean and highlands. * Figures include unbranded, PAL and InterContinental Alliance hotels. We expanded the global footprint of EVEN with our first signings in the Greater China region. We signed the 226-room EVEN Hotel Sanya Yalong Bay, scheduled to open in 2019, offering spectacular views. Due to open in 2020, the 280-room EVEN Hotel Shanghai Tourism Zone (pictured) will be part of the Shanghai International Tourism Zone, in close proximity to Shanghai Disneyland Park.

With its blend of cultural influences from neighbouring Austria, Italy and Croatia, this 165-room hotel is perfectly placed to explore the diverse city. The hotel s destination restaurant, B, is named after the Carniolan honey bee native to Slovenia and is overseen by Michelin-starred chef Alfredo Russo. A different way to stay We believe that heartfelt human connections make people s lives better, and this drives everything we do. We layer our sophisticated yet playful design in our hotels, restaurants and bars with thoughtful amenities and perks to deliver our sincerely personal style of service. Kimpton is where inspired travel begins. 11, The Kimpton Everly Hotel, California, US We opened The Kimpton Everly Hotel, a 216-room hotel situated at the base of the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles. The hotel boasts 360-degree views of the nearby Hollywood sign, LA skyline and Pacific coast, and features Jane Q, a casual LA coffee bar and restaurant, and Ever Bar, a stylish social hub. Guests can also enjoy the 24-hour gym and fifthfloor rooftop pool.

10 Making travel inspiring through neighbourhood discoveries At Hotel Indigo, we combine the individuality, creative service, and intimate feeling of a boutique with the reliability of a big brand. With over 75 unique and intriguing properties in culturally diverse neighbourhoods across the globe, we re all about inspiring our guests during their stay and beyond. 10, Hotel Indigo Antwerp, Belgium We signed Hotel Indigo Antwerp, a brand debut in Belgium. The 82-room hotel will be located in the city centre a stroll away from the diamond district and key venues such as the Flanders Meetings & Convention Centre and Antwerp Zoo. The hotel s restaurant, Queen A, offers honest food and traditional local beers. Where wellness is built in We believe that being on the road shouldn t disrupt your wellness routine. With wellness meaning various things to different people, we know travellers want more ways to stay on track when away from home. That s why we re here with inspiring staff, a rejuvenating sleep experience, healthier food options, a best-in-class fitness experience and spaces to connect and be productive. 1, EVEN Hotel Auckland, New Zealand We signed our first EVEN property in Australasia, EVEN Hotel Auckland, scheduled to open in This is the first signing for the EVEN brand to be announced outside of North America, and is also the first hotel in our partnership with Pro-invest Group, which will bring a portfolio of EVEN properties across Australia and New Zealand.

11 Capturing the spirit of Chinese hospitality HUALUXE and Resorts is the first upscale international hotel brand designed specifically for Chinese guests. We have woven into every detail of the brand s service and design an acknowledgement of Chinese culture and heritage. 1, HUALUXE Wuxi Taihu, China We opened HUALUXE Wuxi Taihu, a hotel surrounded by green space and a waterfront area. The hotel has 302 guestrooms, six restaurants, and features attractive views of the beautiful Taihu Lake. Making business travel work We believe business travel should work better. In every market in the world, business has changed. It s more digital, more mobile, more connected. But, one thing hasn t changed: business people need their hotel to work. We re ready for business 24/7 because when a business hotel works better, business works better , Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley, Australia We opened Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley, a 105-room hotel set amongst eight hectares of landscaped gardens at the foothills of Sydney s Blue Mountains. With six meeting rooms, a day spa and an indoor heated pool, this hotel is an ideal choice for business and leisure travellers alike.
