Built in 1910 and designed by architect Fredrik Dahlberg, Ett Hem was originally a private residence for a government official and his wife, who collected objects, textiles and furniture from all over Sweden. Owner Jeanette Mix and Interior designer, Isle Crawford transformed this exclusive Arts and Crafts townhouse into a hotel, retaining its personality but offering the services required by todays discerning travellers. Each room has its own cocktail cabinet, free Wifi and an ipad. Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home help themselves to treats and healthy food in the well-stocked fridge as well as champagne and fine wine, settle into the lounge with a book from the extensive library and enjoy the hotel s bikes. Conservatory Dining options include casually in the Kitchen or more formally in the Library. Otherwise, a daily crafted menu is available for lunch or dinner at anytime, sourced from their organic farm, using the freshest local produce available. Additionally, guests can unwind in the Relax Room, featuring a sauna, gym and treatment room or outside in the Courtyard garden.
