This program invites Member Lodging establishments to nominate deserving Front Line / Hourly / Non- Supervisory / Non-Management employees for Central Florida recognition. Please consider nominating your deserving employees for these prestigious awards. This year CFHLA will maintain the program as a special reception and dinner. Attached is the nomination form for all thirteen categories: Back Office (Accounting, Administrative, IT, HR) Front Office (PBX, Reservations, etc.) Bell Person / Concierge Housekeeping Community Service Laundry Convention Center / Banquet Recreational (Pool/Spa/Golf/Kids Activities) Culinary Security / Loss Prevention Engineering Steward / Dishwasher Food & Beverage Service Each honoree will receive a gift basket and a commemorative plaque. In addition, every nominee will be given a special certificate of achievement and will be recognized during the program. For your information, each of the thirteen honorees will be certified as a Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP) by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute. NOMINATION GUIDELINES Each property may submit ONLY ONE nomination FOR EACH CATEGORY. An employee may be nominated for the Community Service category for their contributions outside of the workplace IN ADDITION to another category for their actual employment achievements. All nominees must be Front Line / Hourly / Non-Supervisory / Non-Management employees. A digital headshot must be submitted with the nomination form or it will not be accepted. o Please forward via to Paula Fiuza at frontdesk@cfhla.org. o Headshot must be in high-resolution, JPEG format, with a plain background. o Headshots will be utilized to recognize all nominees on the night of the activity.
