3 GETTING TO THE VENUE Located in the heart of the recently revived 13 th district of Paris, close to China Town, the Cité de la Mode is a hub for current and future generations of people working in Paris creative sector, the only public building to boast a riverside location and the most spacious rooftop in Paris. It hosts the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) and permanent modern art exhibitions. BY RER (HIGH-SPEED SUBWAY) Line C Exit Gare d Austerlitz (5 minutes by foot) Line A & D Exit Gare de Lyon (10 minutes by foot) BY SUBWAY Station: Gare d Austerlitz (5 minutes by foot) Station: Quai de la Gare (5 minutes by foot) Station: Gare de Lyon exit Rue de Bercy (10 minutes by foot) Paris Subway map: BY TRAIN The Gare d Austerlitz is located 5 minutes by foot from the venue and Gare de Lyon 10 minutes by foot. For the schedule, please consult the website SNCF: FROM THE AIRPORTS Paris Orly airport (ORY) is connected to public transportation by the RER C, via a shuttle bringing you to the station Pont de Rungis. From there, take the RER C in the direction of Invalides and exit at the subway stop Gare d Austerlitz. Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport is connected to the RER C line. Take the RER B3 to the subway stop Saint Michel-Notre Dame, then take RER C direction Pont de Rungis and exit at Gare d Austerlitz. 4 GETTING TO THE VENUE For exhibitors with light suitcases, the entrance is located at n 32, Quai d'austerlitz. To then gain access to the exhibition floor please use the Lift that is located on the IFM side (Institute de la Mode) of the building or use the team of porters that will be available to help carry exhibitor s light suitcases up the staircases to the Exhibition Hall. For exhibitors with heavy suitcases and additional heavy exhibition materials, please take the freight lift that is located on the docks (riverside of the building). To gain access to this freight lift, please indicate to your driver to take the right bank of the Seine; Please take «Quai de la Rapée» and keep right until Bld de Bercy. Turn right at the bridge, and right again at the end of the bridge: the access towards the dock is almost immediately on your right hand side after the bridge. Please be careful not to miss this entrance, or you will have to go around the block again. We are able to receive your parcels/ shipments starting 29 th June 2018 and no later than 30 th June The address for sending parcels to is «Docks en Seine Espace La Galerie» Port d Austerlitz Paris All freight charges are to be paid by each exhibitor directly. We will not accept to pay for expensive taxes or freight charges; in case of problems, we can pay for small amounts, but will ask for reimbursement during the move-in. Please make sure to double check with your courier company that all taxes and charges are included in your transportation costs (all charges to be paid by the sender). All belongings have to be placed within the booth area, other than suitcases that must be stored in the store room throughout the show. Exhibitors are reminded to continue to fully operate their stands until the show closes. There is no set deadline for you to confirm your reservation at the hotel, but it is important to reserve quickly to guarantee your rooms.
