6 The context and stakes > The genesis of the project The idea was born with the collaboration of the village of Conques, the city of Le Puy en Velay and Braille and Culture within the context of the Massif Central at the fingertips > Objectives - Allowing visually impaired people to discover Santiago heritage - Transmitting the values and the wealth of this heritage - Favouring the melting of able and disabled people > Stakes - Socialization, innovation and unification are at stakes

27 Operational step The project on the urban area of Le Puy en Velay 2012/2013 Coordinated works on the first historical stage of the Santiago road from le Puy en Velay to Rochegude (district of St Privat d Allier) - Massif Central plan Set up tools : Beaconing : - Large signs with plans (at the entrance of towns) - Information about services (accommodation restaurants) Interpretation furniture - Interpretation stands with visuals and texts - Sighting posts Setting up of QR code on the whole of the furniture sending to a web site

34 Operational step > The project of the Haut-Rouergue country 2012/2014 -Enhancing the UNESCO world heritage of Santiago de Compostela road GR 65 from Aubrac to Conques which has been granted the label of rural excellence pole. - The project aims at being a lever for the touristic and cultural development with the equipment, the structure and the exemplary organization of the linear classified as UNESCO world heritage in Aveyron.
