THURSDAY, JUNE 2 ND - ARRIVAL AT BILBAO AND DRIVE TO SAN SEBASTIAN After leaving Prtsmuth n Wednesday, June 1 st at 11:45, the ferry arrives in Bilba at 12:45 n Thursday, June 2 nd. The Classics n the Rad team will be waiting at the Ferry terminal t guide the participants t a lcal restaurant where a tur briefing will take place fllwed by a welcme lunch. tapas bars in the ld part f twn and f curse accmpanied by yur Spanish hsts. FRIDAY, JUNE 3 RD - DRIVE TO PAMPLONA This first muntain rad stage is just 118 miles, but with great cntent, with a first stp at the La Rhune train, a Rack railway that climbs t the western mst peak f the Pyrenees, at 905 metres, ffering ne f the lveliest panramic views. Lk arund yu, and see Basque Cuntry, the peaks f the Pyrenees, the utstretched beaches f the Landes regin, and the Basque castline frm Biarritz t San Sebastian. The rute will als stp at the Grramakil Peak, a very little knwn dead end rad that leads t ne f the mst numerus vulture clnies in the Pyrenees. This place is als hme t a lcal breed f dwarf hrse yu will have the pprtunity t see clse by the rad. This is ne f the mst beautiful rads in Navarre. Stp when yu reach the tp after the hairpin sectin and enter the frest at yur left. The views frm this hidden viewing pint are simply astnishing. Lunch will be at a selected restaurant alng the way. The htel tnight and fr the next tw nights is a 4 star charming htel, Ls Augustins situated in an ancient mnastery in Har, ne f the mst imprtant twns in this winegrwing regin. At 20:00 dinner will be served in the htel s restaurant. We have prepared a lcal menu served with a gd Rija wine. Ttal Mileage: 121 miles

TUESDAY, JUNE 7 TH - MOUNTAIN ROADS AND ANCIENT MONASTERIES shws in the cllectin f manuscripts and cdices created there, which makes Sus ne f the principal scriptriums, if nt the mst ntable, f the Spanish Middle Ages. It is als the place where the first written manifestatin f the Spanish Language appeared. Back in the cars, the tur will head fr the Camers Natinal Reservir, with impressive rads such as the Mntenegr Pass, at ver 5000 feet. The vultures are always easy t see in these muntains, as well as deer, wild bars... and even wlves Our first day in Rija begins with a guided visit t the Yus Mnastery, which tgether with the Sus Mnastery frm an imprtant Patrimny f the Humanity. It is lcated in the River Cárdenas Valley, in the surrundings f the Sierra de la Demanda and just under the peaks f munt San Lrenz, the highest in La Rija (2.262 meters). The Sus Mnastery is the highest f the tw, and als is the ldest. It was created frm the caves inhabited by hermit disciples f San Millán in the sixth century. Extensins during the fllwing centuries turned the caves int a mnastery. The cultural imprtance f Sus

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 8 TH - VINEYARDS AND WINERIES Jaguar XK & E-Type Tur f Nrthern Spain stp will be made at the Marques de Riscal winery t take a clse lk at the impressive building designed by the architect Frank Gehry and maybe buy sme wine at the winery shp. Dinner tnight will be free fr yu t chse. On Saturday the tur will head t the nrth, which is the best knwn part f La Rija. The first stp is an ancient winery that still prduces high quality wines in a ttally handcrafted way. The estate cvers an area f 53,076 square meters, 3,433 square meters f which are undergrund cellars up t 200 meters lng. Sme 13,000 Brdeaux ak barrels are stred in the heart f a muntain within their cellars. After the guided visit and the wine tasting we will drive t Laguardia, a city with a centuries ld wine traditin. The restaurant here has its wn cellar, in which we will enjy a glass f wine and tapas befre lunch. After lunch the tur will enjy a relaxing walk n the narrw streets f this ancient walled city befre ging back t the cars and driving thrugh endless vineyards n the way back t the htel. Lunch is scheduled in a lcal restaurant in Frmista, a well-knwn twn fr having tw beautiful examples f Rmanesque architecture. Dinner tnight will be at the htel at 20:30 h. 14 Jaguar XK & E-Type Tur f Nrthern Spain -DAY 9. FRIDAY, JUNE 10 TH - PICOS DE EUROPA Pics de Eurpa is a natinal park with peaks as high as 8000 feet. Driving acrss the muntain rads and grges f this area is a great experience. In the mrning the tur will crss the Piedrasluengas muntain pass, and in just 35 miles will reach Ptes, the heart f the Pics de Eurpa Natinal Reserve. After sme free time in Ptes, we can cntinue the rute fr anther 13 miles until arriving at Fuente Dé, where the stne walls shw that this place was created by a muntain glacier. Thse wh wish t take a different view f the Pics may like t take the cable car that rises 750 meters abve the valley (weather permitting) After the visit lunch will be taken at the nearby restaurant, where the lcal dish ccid lebanieg will be served. On the way t the htel, the itinerary will take the tur acrss interesting and twisty rads. Dinner is in the restaurant f the Htel Reserva del Saja (4 star), where the tur will stp fr tw nights. SUNDAY, JUNE 12 TH - PASIEGO VALLEYS AND SANTANDER Jaguar XK & E-Type Tur f Nrthern Spain Tday the tur reaches Santander, but befre arriving, we climb ne f the mst beautiful muntain passes in Cantabria. Estacas de Trueba Pass is nearly 4000 feet high, and in the mnth f June its slpes are full f small rivers, sme f which crss the rad. It is an impressive drive. Lunch is scheduled at Espinsa de ls Mnters, in the nrth end f the Burgs prvince, at a lcal restaurant. Frm Espinsa it is just 45 miles t Santander. Our team will try t btain permissin frm lcal authrities t enter the Magdalena Palace with the cars. This palace was the summer residence f King Alfns XIII, the great-grandfather f the actual King. Our htel in Santander is a 4 star Htel verlking the Sardiner beach in Santander. Tnight a farewell dinner will be served at a nearby restaurant.
