Contest of beauty, talent and national costumes! Concert performances at the best venues in Malta! Master classes presented by famous artists! Flash mobs in different cities of Malta!

4 THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL «FOLK MOTIVES» is: Excursion program to discover Malta! Round tables for teachers, heads of delegations and producers! Pleasant time in unique surroundings and atmosphere of Mediterranean! Spectacular gala concert and ceremony of awards of participants! Great impressions and interesting meetings!

5 PARTICIPANTS OF THE FESTIVAL No age limit of participants. Ensembles, arts groups and soloists in the following genres: - Vocal (solo, ensemble, choir, show group): folk songs including modern arrangements (ethno-folk, folk-rock), popular folk animation program. - Choreography (solo, ensemble): a traditional folk dance, styled folk (national) dance, pop dance with elements of modern folklore. - Instrumental genre (solo, ensemble, orchestra). - Theatre Events (Fashion Collection): national costume, historical costume, modern styled folk costume, contest of beauty, talent and national costumes. - The original genre: circus groups, majorettes, cheerleaders and other disciplines.

6 COST OF PARTICIPATION IN THE FESTIVAL: 350 The price includes: - Hotel accommodation (Triple and Quadruple rooms with private facilities in the room). - Breakfast «buffet» and dinner «pack lunches». - Folk vocal master classes, choreography, stage movement, acting from leading experts. - A sightseeing bus tour. - Transfers: airport-hotel-airport. - Ground transportation according to the program of the festival. - Invitation for visa.

7 COST OF PARTICIPATION IN THE FESTIVAL: Covered by the participants and/or organization individually: - Return flight to Malta. - Visa. - Medical insurance. - Additional excursions (excursions to historical sites of Malta) on request from the participants. - Eco Contribution of Euro 0.50 cents per day to a maximum of Euro 5.00 per person is payable on check in. 18 year olds and under are exempted from this tax.

ACCOMMODATION OF PARTICIPANTS: Participants of the

triple and quadruple rooms with all the amenities:

8 ACCOMMODATION OF PARTICIPANTS: Participants of the Festival will be accommodated in a comfortable hotel in triple and quadruple rooms with all the amenities: breakfast «buffet», bathroom, air conditioning, TV, WI-FI, a private swimming pool at the hotel, the beach is within a walking distance. Double room is available for an additional fee.

EXCURSION PROGRAM Maltese archipelago consists of a number of islands with the largest were Malta, Gozo and Comino.

Found in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea, the Maltese islands have a huge repertoire of prehistoric temples and sites, which include Roman ruins, Norman and medieval buildings and baroque architecture, are injected with the fusion of the island culture, traditions and history. Many sandy and rocky beaches and coves decorate Maltese coastlines, making it easy to enjoy a refreshing dip.

13 EXCURSION PROGRAM The Administration Board of the Festival can arrange excursions to historical places of Malta including Mdina, the island of Gozo, Blue Lagoon and other places on individual request from participants.
