3 G E N E R A L I N F O R M A T I O N Entry deadline: 16 th May 2017 (23:59 BWF HQ Time) BWF Online Entry System is mandatory for submitting entries: BWF ONLINE ENTRY SYSTEM U17 TOURNAMENT LINK Date of the draw: 30 st May 2017 BEC responsibility The number of entries than can be accepted: MS 64, WS 64, MD 32, WD 32, XD 48 Provisional schedule: Friday & Saturday 09:30 20:00, Sunday (semifinals / finals) 09:30 14:00 Entry fees: 20 EUR per player per event MS & WS, 15 EUR per player per event MD, WD & XD (has to be paid in cash before the start of the competition) Team managers meeting: 15 th June (Thursday) at 20:00 competition venue Medical service: medical staff will be present in the hall for the whole duration of the competition

4 G E N E R A L I N F O R M A T I O N Doping control: may be carried out on a random basis at any time Insurance: organizer of the competition will not be held responsible for all legal and financial issues regarding health of competitors and other participants regardless of age, gender or category before, during or after this competition Official Pansion: Milkaza (2*) 16 EUR per person per night incl. breakfast & taxes (1/3 1/6 rooms) Official Hotel: Sole Mio (4*) 26 Eur per person per night incl. breakfast, taxes, spa etc. (1/1 1/4) Accommodation booking closing date: 2 nd June 2017 accommodation form Other meals: dinner can be ordered in Pansion and Hotel 6 EUR (full meal incl. soup & salad) Arrival: teams are supposed to come directly to official Pansion or Hotel or competition venue Special transportation service from Belgrade to Novi Sad: Belgrade Airport / Bus / Train Station Pansion or Hotel or competition venue in Novi Sad costs 35 EUR per person (both directions)

5 G E N E R A L I N F O R M A T I O N Competition regulations: Serbian U17 International Novi Sad 2017 will be conducted under the BWF General Competition Regulations and in accordance with the regulations of the Badminton Europe U17 Circuit 2017 Clothing and advertising: Serbian U17 International Novi Sad 2017 will be conducted according to the BWF General Competition Regulations on advertising and clothing and according to the BEC U17 Circuit Regulations on clothing Visa application process: after entering a player(s) in the tournament it is the Member Association's responsibility to secure visas for their players if this is needed; Member Association s must make sure that visa applications are made early enough; Badminton Association of Serbia will provide Official Invitation Letter if this is needed Important remark I: Member Association that entered the player/pair into BEC U17 Circuit Tournament is responsible for paying the entry fees for that player/pair; the entry fees become due if a player is entered and has not been withdrawn when the entry deadline passes (has to be paid by bank transfer or cash)

6 G E N E R A L I N F O R M A T I O N Important remark II: it is required that every event in a particular BEC U17 Circuit tournament has at least 8 competitors (i.e. actual competitors, not merely entries); if the required number of competitors is not met, this particular event shall not count towards any ranking; in accordance with regulation 10.4 in Appendix 6 to BWF s General Competition Regulations, an event must contain at least one entry from a Member Association other than the hosting Association; if an event does not contain at least one entry from a Member Association other than the hosting Association, this particular event shall not count towards any ranking; BADMINTON EUROPE is not liable for any costs incurred by third persons (players, coaches, umpires, team managers etc.) because of an event not having enough competitors to count for the rankings Important remark III: competition schedule will be made after the draw; the maximum number of matches allowed per day will be in accordance with article of BEC U17 Circuit Regulations 2017; a maximum of 3 rounds per event, per day are allowed to be played in the tournament

9 H O S T C I T Y N O V I S A D Novi Sad (NS) is the administrative, economic, cultural, scientific and touristic center of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina; it is the second largest city in Serbia Geographically, it is in a favourable position; NS lies on the European Corridor 10 which connects 8 countries on its main route (Salzburg to Thessaloniki), and another 6 countries with its side routes The distance from Belgrade (capital of Serbia) is just a 80 km (high way)
