EstablishmentofbirdmonitoringandmonitoringofpoachinginHutovoblato DuetotheproblemsinfinancingofprotectedareaHutovoblatoNaturepark,thebirdprotection andotherparkvalueshavebeenataverylowlevelforyears.byinvolvingnon?governmental organizationsthroughfundingtherangerservice,thesituationhassignificantlyimproved.the numberofbirdshasincreased,especiallyinthewinter,thelevelofthepoachinghasdecreased andtheawarenessoflocalhuntersontheimportanceoffightingthepoachinghasincreased.the supervision activities have continued through this project, so that the good results obtained during the previous periods will not be jeopardized. SixworkshopswereorganizedforstudentslivingintheareaofHutovoblatoandMostarskoblato. About350elementaryschoolstudents,fromfifthtoninthgrade,attendedtheworkshops.The workshopswereorganizedbothinschoolroomsandasanexcursionfieldworkshop)tohutovo blatoandmostarskoblato.theeducationalmaterialsweredevelopedfortheworkshops,and the awards for students were provided. For field workshops, the transport, food and refreshments, promotional materials and boat rides on Hutovo blato were provided. The workshops were organized on internationally important dates World Wetlands Day, World Migrationsday,etc.)Twoeducationaltablesweremadeandsetupintheschoolyards.
