2 International Folklore Festival The Forty-fourth International Folklore Festival will take place in the city of urgas - "To preserve the legacy of our ancestors and to pass it on to our children". The oldest folklore festival in ulgaria was founded in 1965 and during its existence it has gained international prestige, thanks to its professionalism and authenticity of the traditional wealth of nations august 2016

3 National Pop Song Competition "urgas and the Sea" Organized for the first time in 1973 under the name "Songs for urgas, the sea and its working people" from the orchestra in summer theatre urgas city. 4 urgas Sand Sculptures Festival Every summer there is a city built of sand figures in the urgas Park Lake, in an area of five yards, right next to the beach. Every year, the festival`s theme is different Sea World, Fairy Tale Heroes, Circus, Cartoon Character, Hall of Fame, etc. Over 2500 tons of sand are used every year in order to build the fantastic models. The special lighting adds to the charm of the unique sand city in the evening. The sand sculptures festival, organised by the Municipality of urgas, welcomes participants from around the world Indonesia, England, elgium, Holland, Ireland, Russia, Ukraine, ulgaria, etc. Evidence of sand sculpture art, dates as far back as Ancient Egypt. In present times it is even more popular with hundreds of competitions, organised throughout the world. urgas is the proud host of the only sand festival of its kind on the alkan Peninsula. 1 july 30 september 2016

The halls will be decorated and filled with the magic of manual arts august 2016 Wine Fest urgas Festival for the best ulgarian wine. For the first time since 2016 Soncours Mondial de ruxelles, winning wines will be presented to the general public of Wine Fest urgas ulgarian medalists of the 23rd edition of Soncours Mondial de ruxelles 2016, which this year took place in ulgaria, will present champions during the third Wine Fest urgas. 7 Summer Chaos Festival Summer Chaos Festival s origins lead to the middle of the 90 s of XX century, when the event provided opportunity for young ulgarian rock and metal bands to prove and express themselves. Summer Chaos Festival will take place in Lazur stadium, situated in close proximity to the city - centre and the Sea Garden. 13 august 2016

8 Concert of.t.r. Iconic rock band.t.r. will perform at the stage of urgas Summer Theatre. During their long experience as a rock band they have played on stage with many legendary musicians and groups: Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Scorpions, Ronnie James Dio Heaven and Hell, Nazareth, Motorhead, Europe, Accept, Gamma Ray, Michael Schenker Group, Iron Maiden. The concert will last two hours, and it starts at 20:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the box offices of "House of petrochemicals" and at the cash desk of Summer Theatre urgas. 14 july 2016

9 Festival "Jazz in urgas" Jazz festival will unfold on the open stage of the Expo Center "Flora" urgas. Some of the best ulgarian and foreign jazzmen will participate in it. urgas will dance to the beat of jazz! The Jazz festival's opening is at 20:30 pm. 10 Festival "Join the city" "Join the City" is a festival in wich artists and audiences alike work together to produce interesting and thought-provoking pieces of Art. The festival includes a series of events in which the audience has the opportunity to participate actively. Ordinary people are able to become the protogonists - boundaries between artists and audiences do not exist. You can see, touch, feel or create art. Illusionists' Art is the focus of this year's festival. It takes place in urban areas - Casino lanes in the Sea Garden, the Summer Theatre, "Aleksandrovska"and "ogoridi" Street, Exposition Center "Flora".
