1 2015 CALL FOR PAPERS The CADAM is e annual international conference organised every September on e different picturesque places on e Adriatic coast since CADAM conferences have international character since e obtained results and continuous progress are achieved by voluntary contribution and continuous support of e eminent scientists from various countries which number continuously arise from e year to year. You are welcome to join us. The main purpose of e annual CADAM conference and joined international journal Advanced Engineering is to bring togeer scientists, researchers, experts and specialists in order to support eir cooperation, knowledge exchange and presentation of e recent progress in research and development to e worldwide auditorium. Those activities are now supported by internationally oriented projects, such as who is who in science and university books, alough ey will need some time to reach eir final form. 7 2015 ABOUT TUČEPI Tučepi is one of e most beautiful and famous vacation places on e Adriatic, wi numerous hotels and family houses which offer diversified accommodation. It is located 4 km sou-east of Makarska. It is distinguished by e most beautiful and longest gravel beach of e Makarska Riviera, a pine wood, olivegroves, luxury hotels, beautiful houses and sports grounds. Rich in natural water springs (e name 'Tučepi' may come from Old Illyrian and mean 'village at e spring'), e area abounds wi terraced gardens, vineyards and olive-groves. The coastal slopes are dotted wi villages built in traditional Mediterra- nean style and e signs of an early habitation, such as e impressive tumuli - e burial mounds of prehistoric people. An ancient stone-built hill fort overlooks e village. Until e earquake of 1962, e majority of its inhabitants were living in hamlets at e foot of e mountain Biokovo. Some findings confirm population on is places even in ancient times. It was first mentioned in written historical document in1434, but under e present name was mentioned in e 15 century. Here were found e remains of an early Christian church from 5-6 century and several Middle ages tombstones. In e vicinity of e current hotel Neptun on e ruins of e villa rustica was built a church of St. Juraj from e 13 century. Towers at were used to defend e town from Turkish attacks have been preserved till today, and represent a particular historical scene. Tučepi does have a history longer an two millennia, judging by e archaeological findings, which include Roman tiles, old Roman money and jewellery etc. The most famous historical and cultural sights are St. Vid's Church built on a prehistoric pagan site dating back to e 7 century when e Croats worshiped eir god Svevid ere. Church of Bir of Our Lady was built in 1703, and in its foundations were discovered decorative details belonging to an old Cristian church from 5-6 century. Slabs have relief decorations characteristic for at era. Towers in Upper Tučepi remains assigned to e upper part of Tučepi which offer a sea view and in eir time were used for defense against e Turks. City Museum in Makarska in which are kept various historical collections from entire area, so you can see: e archaeological, cultural, historical and enographic collection.
