Remark: In accordance with Article 9, "Each State Party shall take all appropriate legal, administrative and other measures, including the imposition of penal sanctions, to prevent and suppress any activity prohibited to a State Party under this Convention undertaken by persons or on territory under its jurisdiction or control". 3 Form B Stockpiled anti-personnel mines Article 7. 1 "Each State Party shall report to the Secretary-General... on: b) The total of all stockpiled anti-personnel mines owned or possessed by it, or under its jurisdiction or control, to include a breakdown of the type, quantity and, if possible, lot numbers of each type of anti-personnel mine stockpiled." State [Party]: Bosnia and Herzegovina reporting for time period from January to December 2014 The State Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina has destroyed all stocks of landmines except those retained for training purposes as allowed in the Convention. This was reported in our last report. Detailed figures are as follows. BH Armed Forces have 125 AP Mines without fuses for training purposes. MDDC (Mine Detection Dogs Centre Bosnia and Herzegovina) have 63 AP mines without fuses in use as targets for explosive detecting dogs testing. Mine Action Centre (BHMAC) mines kept for training purposes. Civil Protection Republic of Srpska 5 AP mines without fuses. Civil Protection of Federation BiH 92 AP mines without fuses. Other demining companies 561mines without fuses. Total in BiH: 983 mines without fuses.

20 Form I Measures to provide warning to the population Article 7.1 "Each State Party shall report to the Secretary-General... on: i) The measures taken to provide an immediate and effective warning to the population in relation to all areas identified under paragraph 2 of Article 5." Remark: In accordance with Article 5, para.2: "Each State Party shall make every effort to identify all areas under its jurisdiction or control in which antipersonnel mines are known or suspected to be emplaced and shall ensure as soon as possible that all anti-personnel mines in mined areas under its jurisdiction or control are perimeter-marked, monitored and protected by fencing or other means, to ensure the effective exclusion of civilians, until all antipersonnel mines contained therein have been destroyed. The marking shall at least be to the standards set out in the Protocol on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Mines, Booby-Traps and Other Devices, as amended on 3 May 1996, annexed to the Convention on Prohibitions or Restrictions on the Use of Certain Conventional Weapons Which May Be Deemed to Be Excessively Injurious or to Have Indiscriminate Effects". State [Party]: Bosnia and Herzegovina reporting for time period from January to December 2014 [Narrative:] In 2014, there were continuous coordination meetings of BH MAC representatives and those from mine awareness accredited organisations. Meetings were under technical inspection within mine awareness task realisation. 35 mine awareness projects were realised with persons educated about mine hazards. Apart from the stated above, NPA instructors conducted cluster munition awareness in municipalities of Bosansko Grahovo and Bosanska Krupa, where 54 persons were educated. In cooperation with authorities form municipalities with registered mine accidents at the beginning of the calendar year (Petrovo, Teslić and Kalesija), BH AC and EUFOR launched the mine awareness campaign through creation and distribution of mine situation maps. Under BH MAC supervision, Red Cross BiH organised a state competition from mine awareness programme for elementary schools in BiH. There has also been a two-day internal training for Red Cross BiH inspectors in order to renew their knowledge. With the technical and financial support of EUFOR and BH MAC supervision, NGO Stop Mines organised training for mine awareness instructors. 28 attendees successfully finished the training. Red Cross BiH also organised a BH MAC supervised course were 17 attendees successfully finished the training. Due to natural disasters in BiH, activities were conducted in mine affected area, namely of emergency mine/uxo awareness, coordinated and supervised by BH MAC. UNDP provided 5000 promotional fliers for mine/uxo awareness. They were distributed in affected area via Civilian Protection BiH and Red Cross BiH. EUFOR also provided and distributed 900 fliers and 6000 posters via LOT teams in 40 affected areas. NPA and NGO Posavina bez mina conducted mine/uxo awareness activities in the affected areas of District Brčko, in Šamac, Domaljevac-Šamac, Orašje and Odžak. In this reporting period, there were 49 realised projects of permanent marking, with marked area of 5,38 km individual signs were placed as well as 27 billboards/mine situation information. There are currently 3 permanent marking projects in realisation with the area of m 2, with estimated 18 individual signs to be placed. In 2014, there were placed/renewed mine warning signs

21 Form J Other relevant matters Remark: States Parties may use this form to report voluntarily on other relevant matters, including matters pertaining to compliance and implementation not covered by the formal reporting requirements contained in Article 7. States Parties are encouraged to use this form to report on activities undertaken with respect to Article 6, and in particular to report on assistance provided for the care and rehabilitation, and social and economic reintegration, of mine victims. State [Party]: Bosnia and Herzegovina reporting for time period from January to December 2014 [Narrative / reference to other reports:] Current size of mine suspect area is 1.176,5 km 2, while the size of cluster munition suspect area is 8.76 km 2 ; Mine suspect area is reduced for 42 km 2 or 24% out of the plan, while the cluster munition suspect area is reduced for 1,74 km 2 ; General survey defined newly surveyed risk/suspect area of 43,62 km 2 or 58% out of plan, for further humanitarian demining/permanent marking operations; 224 humanitarian demining tasks were completed, with sampled/demined area of 11,97 km 2 or 22% out of plan. Technical survey operations reduced area of 10,12 km 2 or 24% out of plan, while clearance operations reduced the area of 1,85 km 2 or 17% out of plan. Currently, there are 65 tasks of humanitarian demining with the area of 1,72 km 2 ; 1901 AP mines, 135 AT mines and 2342 pieces of UXO were found and destroyed (11 mina/ha); There are 15 realised cluster munition tasks with sampled area of 1,33 km 2 or 100%, an 581 CBU and 16 pieces of UXO found and destroyed; 49 permanent marking projects were realised with the area of 5,38 km 2, where 906 individual permanent marking signs were places, which is 30% out of the plan; Through permanent marking activities, mine warning sign was placed, which is 115% out of plan; Quality control inspectors from BH MAC conducted technical supervision/inspections or 27% out of plan; 1055 metal detectors, 90 EDD teams and 32 machines were tested. Review and evaluation of the equipment and means has been conducted in 21 organisations; Through 33 courses, 311 persons successfully completed courses in mine action domain; 35 mine awareness projects were realised with persons educated on mine hazards; 2 mine/uxo victims assistance projects were realised, one is in the process of realisation; 8 mine and 1 demining accidents were registered, with 16 victims out of which, 6 fatalities.

22 MINE VICTIM ASSISTANCE In this reporting period, there were continuous coordinating activities between BH MAC and organisations/institutions active in the domain of mine/uxo victim s assistance in BiH. Mine/UXO activities were targeted towards preparation of the state progress report for BiH for III Audit Conference for countries signatories of the Ottawa Treaty held in Maputo, Mozambique. Apart from stated above, there was a continuous activities on updating the BHMAIS database, gathering and input of mine related registered incidents/accidents, cluster munition victims as well as mine victims assistance projects. Within the II phase of implantation of Land release project, an additional aspect is included, which encompasses gathering new and review of existing mine/uxo victims information, which was done in order to establish current status of mine/uxo victims in BiH and improvement of dispersion. BH MAC representatives actively participated at 17th Princess Diana Memorial Sitting Volleyball Tournament held in Zavidovići, as well as at the workshop From knowledge to advocacy, from advocacy to changes, which was held in Sarajevo with a goal to reinforce sub-coordination in the domain of issues related to mine victims and other persons with disability. In this reporting period, there were 3 completed mine/uxo victims assistance projects, while 6 projects are still in their realisation phase. The goals of realised projects were: Victim s alternative is independence - educational programme for female victims and women householders with members who are mine victims. The goal was gaining competitiveness at the work market: We economically enforce communities economic support for 20 mine victims in 5 municipalities in Republic of Srpska (hereinafter RS) through purchasing livestock, greenhouses, equipment for apiculture etc. Humanitarian aid for flooded in Doboj aid for the victims of floods, between them mine/uxo victims. The aid was delivered as food packages and similar packages for mine/uxo victims).
