9 NEW YEAR'S EVE FAMILY CELEBRATION is ringing in the New Year with a party for kids in the Grand Ballroom East, from 6pm to 10:30pm. A special kids-friendly New Year countdown and balloon drop will be held at 10pm. are welcome to attend complimentary, or kids ages 4-12 can be signed in with the team. The price of entry for supervised activities is $45 per child, or $75 per child including a children's dinner buffet, served until 9pm. 12 TRANQUILO GOLF COURSE Tranquilo Golf Course is named to reflect the Spanish revival style of the Resort and pay homage to the Florida landscape, such as the Southern Live Oak trees that are found throughout the course. Host to the LPGA Tour's 2019 Diamond Resorts Tournament of Champions, the 18-hole course is a Par 71, with a yardage of 6,901 and four sets of tees to accommodate all skill levels. Guests will enjoy a true luxury offering, as the pristine course is newly enhanced with an unrivaled 16-acre, $2.5 million practice facility. The enhancements include a 400-yard double-ended driving range with a two-acre natural grass teeing area that has been transformed to also serve as a Par 3 course. Additional facilities include two chipping greens, an 18,000 square-foot putting course and additional putting greens. Launch monitor video swing analysis and instruction are also available. SHORT COURSE & PUTTING COURSE Golfers of all ages and skill levels will enjoy playing on the putting course (available daily) and Par 3 course (available Fridays starting at 2:30pm). FAMILY GOLF Family play is encouraged at Tranquilo Golf Course, and the course offers special golf carts that accommodate a family of four.
