PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON VESSELS TRANSITING, ANCHORING OR REMAINING IN THE DEMARCATED AREAS OF THE PORT WATERS

1 MARITIME AND PORT AUTHORITY OF SINGAPORE PORT MARINE NOTICE NO. 060 OF Jun 2018 Shipping Community Harbour Craft Community Pleasure Craft Community PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON VESSELS TRANSITING, ANCHORING OR REMAINING IN THE DEMARCATED AREAS OF THE PORT WATERS Applicable to: Mariners operating in the vicinity of Sisters Fairway, Western Anchorage, Buran Channel, Selat Sengkir, Keppel Harbour and Cruise Bay. 1. Pursuant to Reg 45 (2) of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Port) Regulations, the Port Master hereby prohibits all vessels from transiting, anchoring or remaining in the following demarcated areas for the period specified: a. Selat Sengkir (From 10 Jun 2018, 0700hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs) b. Keppel Harbour (From 10 Jun 2018, 0700hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs) c. Cruise Bay (From 10 Jun 2018, 0700hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs) d. Off Sentosa Coast (From 12 Jun 2018, 0001hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs) 2. The Port Master, pursuant to Reg 45 (2) of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Port) Regulations, also restricts the movement of vessels in the following demarcated areas from 12 Jun 2018, 0001hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs as follows: a. Sisters Fairway and part of Western Anchorage. No vessels, except for approved regional ferries bound to and from the HarbourFront Regional Ferry Terminal, are allowed to transit the Sisters Fairway and part of Western Anchorage during this period. b. Buran Channel. All vessels, except for approved regional ferries, transiting the Buran Channel are required to provide notification at least two hours prior to their transit to the Maritime Security Duty Officer, via telephone number These vessels may be subjected to security checks by the Police Coast Guard, prior to their entry into the Buran Channel. 3. Please refer to the appendix and chartlets for the geographical positions of the above demarcated areas.

2 4. Masters and agents are advised to take into account the prohibition and restriction in their planning and to avoid these areas as far as practicable. 3 APPENDIX 1 (A) PROHIBITED AREA SELAT SENGKIR N E N E Thence along the coastline to point 10 (the point of origin). This Prohibited Area is in addition to the current established Prohibited Zone in Selat Sengkir. This prohibition shall take effect from 10 Jun 2018, 0700hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs. (B) PROHIBITED AREA KEPPEL HARBOUR N E N E Thence in the westward direction along the coastline to point 12 (the point of origin). No vessels are to be berthed within this Prohibited Area which include the berths at Keppel and Brani Terminals i.e. K22, K23, B1 and B2. This prohibition shall take effect from 10 Jun 2018, 0700hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs. (C) PROHIBITED AREA CRUISE BAY N E N E Thence in the eastward direction along the coastline to point 14 (the point of origin). This prohibition shall take effect from 10 Jun 2018, 0700hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs.

4 (D) PROHIBITED AREA OFF SENTOSA COAST N E N E N E N E Thence in the southeasterly direction along the coastline to point 6 (the point of origin). This prohibition shall take effect from 12 Jun 2018, 0001hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs. (E) RESTRICTED AREA A SISTERS FAIRWAY AND PART OF WESTERN ACHORAGE Restricted Area A which is bounded by a line joining the following geographical positions: N E N E N E N E N E Thence in the northwesterly direction along the coastline to point 6: N E N E N E N E Thence in the northwesterly direction along the coastline to point 1 (the point of origin). This restriction shall take effect from 12 Jun 2018, 0001hrs, to 13 Jun 2018, 2359hrs. (F) RESTRICTED AREA B BURAN CHANNEL Restricted Area B which is bounded by a line joining the following geographical positions: N E N E Thence in the north easterly direction along the coastline to point 18:
