2 Background / Refit Overview Originally launched in 2006, Ginger is one of the best examples of Pershing s dramatic, high-performance 115 model yachts afloat today thanks to an extensive refit and overhaul at the Dunya Yachts yard in Turkey. Dunya has applied its expert craftsmen who were responsible for building the 72 metre Axioma to the task of transforming Ginger and bring her up to date. The work completed includes the repainting of the hull and superstructure, new exterior upholstery and deck furniture, newly installed underwater lights aft, new carpets, upholstery and leather for the interior, and a brand new, state of the art entertainment system throughout. With just 900 hours on her engines which have also been fully serviced, along with all the ancillary equipment and machinery she offers a unique opportunity to acquire a better-than-new version of this iconic model. Oak flooring, a black horse hair deckhead, grey sycamore blinds and carbon fibre details create a refined, contemporary atmosphere. The state-of-the-art helm station lies at the forward end of the main saloon beyond the a divider that holds the television. Forward, the lower saloon has been re-imagined as a generous media room-cum-cinema that creates a cosy retreat with an aft bulkhead finished in woven leather and with a natural fibre carpet underfoot.
