3 General Information Pre-Cruise Hotel and Transportation We have reserved a block of rooms at the Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale, 17th St. for the evening before the cruise ship departs. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying overnight prior to departure and not trying to arrive in Fort Lauderdale the day of the cruise. The ship will not wait for you so you can t afford to have delayed or cancelled flights the day of departure. Rooms are being held for $195 per night. The Hyatt Place offers complimentary breakfast and free wi-fi. We have secured a shuttle bus to get attendees from the Hyatt Place to the port. Cost is $10 per person. Only those pre-booking the shuttle will be guaranteed a seat. Others will be accomodated on a space-available basis. Celebrity Constellation Originally launched in 2002, and upgraded in 2010 with additional stateroom categories and specialty dining options, Celebrity Constellation is regularly voted among the Best Large Cruise Ships by travel guides. At 91,000 gross tons, Constellation is the perfect size to balance a multitude of amenities with an intimate feel. She is a sister ship to Celebrity Millennium, which hosted IHEA s 2012 Annual Meeting. Itinerary This four night cruise will depart from Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Thursday, March 26. The ship will dock in Nassau, Bahamas, on Friday morning, where attendees will have time to explore on their own. Saturday will be a day at sea, followed by Sunday in Key West, FL, where we will hold our annual Golf & Croquet Tournaments. The ship will return to Ft. Lauderdale Monday morning, where guests will disembark to return home. Cost Per Stateroom As there are a variety of stateroom classes available onboard Constellation, the cost of your room will vary, dependent on type and location of your cabin. IHEA has secured cabins in several different categories to provide cost flexibility to members. See the next page for available stateroom categories and pricing. Registration Fee $300 for IHEA Members $600 for Non-Members There is no registration fee for spouses or guests. NOTE: Registration fee will be added to the price of your cabin selection during online registration. What s Included? Different categories within a cabin type are based on location. 6 Social activities Golf Tournament SUNDAY, March 29 10:00 AM Our annual golf tournament will be held at Key West Golf Club, the only Caribbean golf course in the United States. The course includes features unique to the Florida Keys, including a hole played completely over a field of mangroves. We will depart the ship at 9:00 AM and we will share taxis to the course. Golf Outing Fee: $135 Includes: Greens fees Cart Boxed Lunch Course contests Trophies & Prizes Club Rental: $45.15 Croquet Tournament SUNDAY, March 29 10:00 AM The lawns of The Little White House will host IHEA s 2015 Croquet Tournament during our stop in Key West. The day will begin with an optional tour of the house, followed by the croquet tournament. Just a short walk from the pier in Key West, The Little White House has played host to numerous U.S. presidents, and was the winter vacation home of President Harry S. Truman during his time in office. Originally constructed in 1890, The Little White House is Florida s only Presidential Site.
