Site supervision could be arranged either in collaboration with an Owner selected site team, with a site team formed by our selection of specialists or alternatively with combined resources. Review and Appraisal of Specification, Building Contract and Makers List. Issue of Memorandum. covering the appraisal of all drawings, plans and documents with respect to: o Compliance with the building specification and contract o New rules coming into force. o Special demands and experience of company s operational partners.
2 o Requirements coming from the Flag Administration, Charterers, Port Authorities & Coast Guards (of Ports of commercial value for the shipping company) and other International Organizations. o Best marine practice and market worldwide trend, utilizing in-house operational experience. o evaluation of major makers equipment and scope of supply. On Site & to the Site Team, including: o Co-operation with Site Manager on daily basis o Continuous monitoring of construction progress o Issue of Progress Reports per month o support to Site Office on issues related to the construction o Review of Inspection Procedures (ITPs, PSPC, Shaft Alignment) o Review of shipyard s Modification Plans o Review of Shop Test Reports o Review of Inclining Test Procedure and Report o Review of Sea Trials Procedure and Report o Follow up of major NCR (non-conformities) and support to Site Manager to negotiations with shipyard o Informative progress meetings with Owner at their premises
