Some very large and ancient tombs can be found behind the village decorated with oars and zebu horns while fragments of eggshells from the world s largest bird, the now extinct Aepyornis or elephant bird, can be found scattered along the beach. MADAGASCAR: FORT DAUPHIN Port d Ehoala at Fort Dauphin is a newly built port and the gateway to a number of exciting tours and activities in Madagascar. Fort Dauphin, known as the place of dreams is a scenic paradise with lush vegetation filled with exotic birds, sparkling waters and lovely mountainsides to explore. You can visit the Saiadi Botanic Garden to view orchids, birds and butterflies or have a look at the lemurs at Berenty Reserve close by. MADAGASCAR: ILE ST MARIE This tiny island, also known as Nosy Boraha, is located off the coast of Madagascar and is an unspoiled tropical paradise. Stunning scenery, waterfalls, lush forests, sandy beaches, coconut palms and coves packed with coral reefs make for fantastic photographic opportunities or provide a wonderful place to unwind amongst nature.
