Between the 4th and 13th centuries a unique culture which owed its spiritual origins to Indian Hinduism developed on the coast of contemporary Viet Nam. This is graphically illustrated by the remains of a series of impressive tower-temples located in a dramatic site that was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence. Here you will get a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lanterns. Choose your favorite sample of lantern. Do step by step with the craftsman how to make one lantern and then keep it as a souvenir. Continue to ride bicycle in 30 minutes to Tra Que herb village which is named after the sweet scented vegetables that spice up the every day meals of the Pho Hoi people. Take a short stroll around the vegetable garden and listen to the history of the village. Then join gardening activities in preparing the land, fertilizing with seaweed, raking the ground, sowing, watering, picking vegetables... The five marble hills or mountains are named after the five elements (Ngũ Hành) of the ancient oriental philosophy. There are a number of caves, grottos and Buddhist temples on the mountains with nice natural entrances and tunnels. The temples make the area a popular pilgrimage site. The Marble Mountains are also famous for their traditional stonemasonry activities. Hoi An Ancient Town is truly the most charming place to stop in central Vietnam. The preservation of 18th century architecture and way of life in the old town continues to lure wide eyed visitors. Once you arrive in Hoi An, you will wish you had planned to stay longer. Ba Na Hills the double Guinness World record breaking cable car, honoured as both the longest and highest non-stop system in operation. The 5,042m high cable car ride takes about 20 minutes, reaching a vertical rise of about 1,500m above sea level. However you will experience the cable car ride up to the hills.
