2 Expansion of the G6 Alliance Cooperation The G6 Alliance was formed in late 2011 and began operation in March 2012 in the Asia-Europe and Mediterranean trade lanes. The cooperation expanded to the Asia-North America East Coast trade lane in May The cooperation will be expanded to the Asia-North America West Coast and Trans-Atlantic trade lanes in May With the expanded cooperation, the G6 Alliance will further strengthen its position to meet shippers demand for more comprehensive, seamless and efficient services with competitive transit times. Significantly improved port-pair connections compared to the previous products will be offered to customers. 3 Better Coverage of Your Needs Compared to the current service, OOCL will offer on the Trans-Atlantic with the following enhancements: Expanded port coverage With our introducing Jacksonville, Miami and Vancouver as Eastbound direct ports of call, it will better serve and meet your transportation requirements. Environment Care OOCL recognises that businesses must take responsibility for their industry s effects on the environment. Our company is fully committed to reducing air emissions from our vessels. Following the deployment of the newer and larger vessels in the new services between North America and North Europe, there will be significant reduction in emissions on a per TEU basis, hence, reduction in the environmental impact.
